When it comes to going to dinner, it appears Heidi Klum believes it should be a case of the more the merrier.

The 40-year-old model and her brood unloaded from a van in front of Nobu in New York City on Friday, all ready for nourishment.

All her children - Leni, nine, Henry, seven, Johan, six, and Lou, three - were in attendance, as well as her boyfriend Martin Kristen, a couple friends and nannies.

Altogether, the bunch were sunkissed and exhausted from a day of fun.

Heidi wore her hair pulled back into a high bun and shielded her face with aviator sunglasses.

A baggy grey cotton dress hung loosely around her lithe frame with the help of spaghetti straps.

Prepared for the chill of the restaurant's air conditioning, she wrapped a grey shawl over her shoulders.

Staying casual for the rather upscale eatery, the supermodel merely donned flip flops and carried a black and leopard print clutch.

All her children were wearing a variety of sweatpants, T-shirts and flip flops as well.

Little Lou had a special pair of sweats that unzipped into a shark bite on the bottom.

The three-year-old's display had everyone in stitches as her mother helped her zip up her trousers again.

Bodyguard boyfriend Martin stepped out of the van with his arms loaded up with bags of beach necessities left over from the day.

Heidi is obviously enjoying her break from judging duties on America's Got Talent.

Her trip to the Big Apple has involved some work on her part promoting her Truly Scrumptious line for Babies 'R' Us, which debuted back in September of 2012.
