Anime has always been huge in the Middle East with shows like Grendizer, Gundam, and Marzinger gaining immense popularity and fan following. However, quite surprisingly there has never been an anime done in the Middle East, which I am sure fans would love to see. Things might change soon though with 'Torkaizer', the first Middle East-based anime show from the newly formed Alter Ego studio.
Torkaizer tells the story of Ahmed, "a normal Emirati young man who finds himself in a life-and-death situation while on vacation. An alien invasion hits Tokyo and all hope is lost, but through a twist of fate, Ahmed finds Torkaizer and goes against all odds to unite everyone and defend Earth against these space monsters!"
