Chris Watters cruises the Sky-Lines of BioShock Infinite for weapon tips, vigor strategies, and a brand new old-timey song.
It's interesting and I believe will be another sandbox hit like Age of Wushu, which many people are following now.
It's pretty funny seeing all the comments from people posting about their "super uber combo", yet all the posts are providing different things.
I used a rocket launcher through almost my entire second 1999 playthrough. Why yes pretty lady, I WILL take that extra ammo... KABOOOOM.
My loadout is shock jockey, machine gun, and storm gear. Shock the enemies, kill them and killed enemies shock others upon death. Great way to chain kills/
I was really attracted to charge+shotgun I think probably because I just got through playing through the Mass Effect Trilogy recently as a Vanguard. the replenish shield/invulnerability upgrade really reminded me of being a vangaurd if only there was time dilation too lol.
Hmmm, I'm actually suprised at the amount of people who couldn't enjoy this amazing work of art, either that or they're just a very loud few.
@alpha_unit97 we are living in the COD age my friend, people have very short attention spans. They want an instant fix and are unprepared to experience a world and soak in it's atmosphere. Depressing really..
More to a game than a piece of art, a generic, boring gameplay, ungripping pile of dog poo of a game an 8 at best.
here's ken levine discussing the financials of Bioshock infinite after its release on Bloomberg TV, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3y5BBhLYcQ
I want to be able to replay the game with my unlocked weapons and vigors so that I can eventually unlock everything. At the moment I just don't have the motivation to replay the game.
there are two types of ppl, "spoilers ones" and "gamers ones", the spoilers ones just complain , and the gamers one just watch one trailer , wait, play and enjoy. For all those who think this game was short, well happened the same to me, but that's because when a game is so good and you dont want it to end. it seems short, actually the game has big scenarios and is long journey.
Whats with the hitmarkers in this game? Bioshock 1 and 2 worked well with just blood and bullet wounds as hit markers. Why do all these new trendy FPS games have to show an X wherever you make a hit?
@Dredcrumb9 You can easily turn it off, so having the option to choose if you want to have it turned on or not is obviously better than not having the option.
@Dredcrumb9 This game doesn't demonize the founding fathers. It demonizes the wackjob that co-opted the founding fathers "brand" for his own insane purposes.
@Dredcrumb9 I think Infinite was more about the perversion of their principles. The game was also a warning about what happens when you give any man deity status.
Wish I didn't give in to the hype, this game is no wheres near as good as what people have been saying. Especially after getting a bunch of small parts of the story spoiled my VanOrd's "summary" (can't really call it a review). The game is really good, but the hype has really dumbed the experience down for me...
@parkurtommo In all fairness, it does specifically say in the vid caption right under Kevin's review:
(This video may contain spoilers. If you want to experience this game yourself, please come back later.)
How much more of a spoiler warning can they give you?
@parkurtommo lol, you must be very obsessive when it comes to spoilers if you though kevins review spoiled the game, cause if your going to be that picky then you may as well stay away from the internet as a whole, cause in your case: THERE'S SPOILERS AROUND EVERY CORNER, MY GOD!
@parkurtommo You must be in love with gaming to enjoy this piece of art. And if you care about spoilers you shouldn't watch any reviews; There is no such a thing as a spoiler free review.
@parkurtommo I stopped watching gamespot's reviews a long time ago because VanOrd is always spoiling the games.
I used to be a subscriber, now I barely visit the site.
Love me some GunShow :). Feel of the weapons was much improved from earlier BS games. The Handcannon was my favourite, along with the sniper rifle! BS:I was not all about story and art. It was a blast to play as well! Enjoyed every second of it :)!
On hard mode, i opt for the sky line drop and sky line kill which grants invisibility for a brief moment for most of the tough battles.
Who gives a shit?
All the weapon are crap. The entire gameplay is crap.
The game would have been much better with no guns at all just walk along and take in the story.
to tell the truth all the guns and gameplay are pretty generic in this game.
