They've been together for nearly 20 years, so Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are clearly in sync with each other.

And it appears their closeness even translates to dressing similar after the couple stepped out in London in matching outfits.

The R&B singer and his actress wife appeared to be going for the monochrome look in complementing black and white ensembles as they left their London hotel on Tuesday night.

With their three-year-old Julian tucked up in bed in their suite, the couple headed out just after midnight for a late date night.

Paula, 37, showed her svelte figure in a pair of white skinny jeans and a fringed halterneck top, while Robin, 35, opted for a pair of black jeans, white T-shirt and light jacket.

They later went on to party with Nicole Scherzinger at Boujis, where they had some social drinks with close friends and sipped on Champagne.

Despite their late night, Robin was up on Wednesday morning to perform his No.1 hit single of the same title on This Morning.

Unlike the controversial video, his accompanying dancers were dressed in leather-style outfits.

Following the huge success of the Blurred Lines single, Robin is considering going on tour.

However, he admits he would have to bring his son Julian with him because he couldn't bear to be parted from the toddler.

He told The Sun recently: 'I haven't done a legitimate leave-the-house-for-two-or-three-months thing since the kid was born and I don't really want to.

'I'm going to have to at some point though, because it's too much money... I know when I start touring that he'll just have to come with me for some of it.'

Robin and Paula started dating nearly 20 years ago when they were teenagers, before tying the knot in 2005.
