The UK singer and her American counterpart have teamed up to record a new track called It's All Good.

And in behind-the-scenes footage from the music video shoot, Cher, 19, and Ne-Yo, 33, share just why they're so hyped to get fans involved in the creative process.

The artists teamed up for the launch of Fruttare Fruit Bars, and have given their followers the chance to contribute to the original song commissioned by the snack company.

From all the submissions, Cher and Ne-Yo have selected their top choice material to use in the track that asks and answers what's 'all good' to their fans.

'This particular collaboration is just very exciting because we actually get time to go in the studio together and do it,' Cher told JustJared.com. 'It’s not always that you get to do that.

'We talk on the phone a lot, and we’ve been very connected. We know we need to come together on this one. It can’t be just one artist and not the other. He’s a very nice guy, very cheeky, and a lot of fun.'

But teaming up with such a well-established musician was a daunting prospect for Cher, who admitted to Yahoo! OMG: 'When I met Ne-Yo, I was very nervous. And he just made me very calm.

'He was really nice. And I think sometimes that shocks you and pulls you back a little bit [when a celebrity is nice].'

On Monday, Cher enjoyed a day out in Los Angeles with her fiancé Craig Monk, deciding to accessorise her casual outfit with a black woollen hat - despite the 32C temperatures.

The 19-year-old singer kept her head toasty with the headpiece, while dressing in an otherwise cool ensemble consisting of a black and white vest top and graphic-print monochrome leggings.

Cher topped off the outfit with a pair of red Converse plimsolls, and looked blissfully happy as she strolled along arm-in-arm with her beau - who also appeared to have ignored the balmy weather and opted to step out wearing a black leather jacket.

Former X Factor star Cher also drew attention to her vast array of tattoos in the outfit, after admitting in a recent interview with Inked magazine that she never worried about her etchings affecting her getting a job.

She said: 'I was probably the first person in my year to get one. At the time the tattoo artist said to me that people wouldn't employ me because I had a tattoo on my hand, but I still did it, because I had this crazy thought in my head that I wasn't going to do anything but be a performer anyway.'

Cher also drew attention to her stunning diamond engagement ring as she draped her arm casually through her beau's while they strolled along at The Grove.

Despite getting engaged in March 2012, Cher and Craig appear in no rush to walk down the aisle, although the singer admits she is looking forward to a stress-free time planning her nuptials because of the super efficient team around her.

She said: 'I've got a lot of people around me that are there to help and it shouldn't be a stressful experience, it should be fun.

'And I think I'm very lucky with the position I'm in and I can almost be completely stress free about the process, so your wedding day is not meant to be full of stress.

'My life is so full of stress and it's not gonna be stressful at all!'

Cher is currently in Los Angeles working on her new album - the follow-up to her incredibly successful debut record Sticks + Stones.

I never used to like her, but she seems to have grown up. She's not attention seeking like so many other celebrities she just focuses on her music, good luck to her.

A bit of topic but am fed up with these R&B;/Hip/Hop artist being sell outs doing rubbish pop music because everyone else is. Usher, Snoop Dogg, Nelly now Ne-Yo and quite a few others with I can't think of right now. Its boring! I know artists change styles but it seems like they have abandoned their roots that's just my opinion. Also I can't stand this girl BUT am happy for her that shes doing well. I bet Cheryl is fuming and thinking why not me? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!
