His acting career is going from strength to strength.

But Seth Rogen is having to take a short break from his work life, after falling off his bike and breaking his elbow.

The 31-year-old Canadian actor stepped out in Los Angeles on Tuesday with a navy and white sling on his left arm.

Seth looked entirely frustrated by his situation, failing to raise a smile as he struggled with the sling and a backpack.

And the This Is The End star even took to Twitter to voice his annoyance about the injury.

Tweeting a picture of himself wearing the sling, Seth wrote: 'You know what's awesome about falling off your bike and breaking your elbow? Not a f***ing thing.'

Luckily, the majority of Seth's upcoming film roles don't require him to be on camera - as he is simply voicing characters in movies.

He will soon start recording B.O.O.: Bureau of Otherworldly Operations alongside Melissa McCarthy, before reprising his role voicing Mantis in Kung Fu Panda 3.

Speaking recently about his acting future, Seth said that while he is always up for taking on different roles, such as more dramatic parts, his heart will always be with comedy.

He said: 'People have brought us slightly more serious ideas that we're developing now; a couple of them.

'But honestly, my instinct is always: any serious idea could be funny if you really sat down and tried to make it like that, without diminishing the idea at all. It's just more fun to make funny movies, so I would generally prefer to do that, personally.'
