... the mechanics of an instrumentality of larger international scope have never been successful. Military alliances, balances of power, leagues of nations, all in turn failed, leaving the only path to be by way of the crucible of war.

If we do not now devise some greater and more equitable system, Armageddon will be at our door. The problem basically is theological and involves a spiritual recrudescence and improvement of human character that will synchronize with our almost matchless advances in science, art, literature and all material and cultural developments of the past two thousand years, It must be of the spirit if we are to save the flesh.

The time has come for the "counting of maggots" to end. The body is dead. Everyone is telling everyone else: LOOK, HERE'S a MAGGOT, or LOOK, THERE'S a MAGGOT!!!"

We can only suggest the spiritual recrudescence spoken of by General MacArthur requires faith, prayer and meditation. We are not talking about any specific faith, but only faith, and only prayer. Modern scientists have written about the absolute power of prayer, faith and meditation.

We are reminding the people that the Declaration of Independence is a declaration in the sense of covenanting with the Creator of the Republic, and this Declaration will not just "go away" because some tyrants do not like it. Scientists are "discovering" the power of the word in so many ways it is impossible to herein rehearse them. The Declaration is just such a power, and it is still in force because of the power of the word.

"We The People" were warned this could happen, but we were left with the solution to the problem by the very light these Founding Fathers shone by their actions:

Franklin ended a speech at the Constitutional Convention with the following words:

"I therefore beg leave to move -- that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, be held in this Assembly every morning before we proceed to business, and that one or more of the Clergy of this City be requested to officiate in that service."

Ben Franklin was not the only one to question how long the Grand Republic would endure. Thomas Jefferson laid down a prediction in 1784 that sends chills down one's spine for its accuracy:



But Jefferson similarly left us a hidden message, much like the clues in those very entertaining "National Treasure" movies. Realize that Jefferson NEVER uttered public prayers, staunchly believing religion was a private matter. In a private letter Jefferson wrote:

"I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."

Note that sworn is as in Declaration, an oath. Where? The "Altar of God." Take it from there.

Shall we forget our first President? We think not. He prayed so often, frequently, and eloquently that he kept journals listing his prayers. THOSE were the PRAYERS, along with all the others we could site, that set the foundation of this Nation and created a "Constitution FOR the United States." Of course everyone is familiar with this picture. Let's consider it once more:

To have the recrudecence of the human spirit General MacArthur was inspired to describe, we need just three things:

1. Prayer.
2. Education
3. Arm yourself and train accordingly
   Luke, a Physician, copied down the admonition (Luke 22:36):

   "He said to them, "But now if you have a purse, take it, and also a bag; and if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one."

   Recall the swords were the "assault weapons" of that era. To master the tool required training. Therefore armed and trained is necessary to protect oneself from solipsists during this coming recrudescence. And, it IS coming.
