Why Would a Gunowner Need More than 10 Rounds?
Consider this, the woman shoots the intruder 6 times. He lays down and cries, and then gets up and leaves. What if there were more than 1 attacker? What if there were 3?
When They Come For Your Guns
Although I am posting this after today's announcement that Obama could consider Executive Order to ram through some sort of gun law, I do not see an imminent ban of any kind on the horizon. I see the EO comments as the Executive branch's way of saying, "We cannot get anything through Congress, we don't have the votes".
That doesn't mean we need to let our guard down though, we need to be actively engaged in this fight right now. Continue to call, write, email, and donate money to and join pro gun groups such as the NRA and otehrs. The reason Congress won't likely have the votes to pass new bans or gun legislation is because of gun owners being loud and fighting hard! Keep it up!

Gun Grabbers Reveal Their Plan
OK, it is fair to say that we knew their plan for a long time, if we were paying attention.
We knew Obama wanted to disarm Americans and create more gun control. I knew many people throughout Obama's first term though, even gun owners, who told me that the NRA was using that sentiment about Obama to create fear, increase membership and contributions, as well as even act as a shill for the GOP.
Hypocrite Dianne Feinstein is famous for saying in a 1995 interview, "If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an outright ban, picking up every one of them... Mr and Mrs America, turn 'em all in, I would have done it. I could not do that. The votes weren't there."
Yes, they want it all, and her new AWB 2.0 once again shows her determination. In the wake of the CT tragedy, there were eight new anti-gun bills proposed in Congress on the first day (Jan 3rd). They are wanting to get what they can right now.

In my personal opinion, they won't get much (outside of an executive order) in this go 'round. I hope I am right, but I am trying to look at this scenario from a logical perspective instead of the emotional one.
The gun grabbers plan has been and always will be, incremental-ism. If new legislation like the one Feinstein is proposing were to pass, there would likely be mass rebellion. Not to say it would be violent, but the civil rights movement showed us that you can rally against and fight against unconstitutional laws in a peaceful way. The amount of force shown by the government to enforce such laws would likely be met with equal force as well.
Liberty is an unending battle we must fight for. When I speak of fighting for our liberty, I mean it from as simple a thing as voicing an opinion, boycotting companies (voting with your money), writing your congressmen, protesting, etc... and all the way up to violence if need be. My hope is that we can fight this fight for as long as possible in a peaceful manner. Ultimately, and unfortunately, it is almost certain to mean that we will need to shed blood at some point.
If you look throughout history, our peaceful and freedom loving country is an anomaly. Governments in the history of mankind have sought to control, enslave, murder, and exploit their own people for the personal gain of the elite few from the beginning. Those same motivations from then, money, greed, power are at work now and influencing the leaders and people in positions of power just as they did then.
Our country's Constitution was inspired by almighty God, crafted by intelligent men who lived under tyranny and shed blood to gain freedom for a period of time. They understood the nature of men and governments. Thomas Jefferson once said, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
Fear the politician that fears your guns. They cannot be trusted.
These evil men have been chipping away at our freedoms for a long time, and they have made progress. We, as a people, need to rally for freedom. If we are not vigilant, we will be defeated.
Always remember this, slaves make slavery possible.
