Ms. Corey sat down with fellow prosecutor Bernie de la Rionda and HLN’s Vinnie Politan in Jacksonville to discuss the verdict.

“Inconsistent witnesses” and lack of physical evidence made it impossible for the prosecutors to convey to the jury exactly what happened during the fight between Mr. Zimmerman and Martin, she told HLN.
When asked for one word to describe Mr. Zimmerman, after a long pause Ms. Corey replied with “murderer.” Mr. Rionda said, “lucky.”
Mr. Politan asked the lawyers for one word to describe Mr. Martin, to which Ms. Corey replied with “prey.” Mr. Rionda had trouble finding the words, but settled with “victim.”
Mr. Zimmerman was found not guilty late Saturday night in the shooting death of the unarmed 17-year-old.
