Deepak Singh is best known as a blogger and open data evangelist. At business|bytes|genes|molecules he talks about the impact of open data, computing and the web on the communication, practice and business of the life sciences. Some of that thinking led to the forming of Bioscreencast.com, a showcase for how the web and multimedia can impact scientific communnication. Deepak has several years of experience in the life science software and informatics industry as a scientific programmer, marketer and currently as a strategist at a bioinformatics software company.
