After the wedding comes the party. And that's exactly what Katie did next.

Price wasted no time continuing the tacky theme of her nuptials to Alex Reid as they celebrated at a series of strip clubs.

Just hours after she tied to knot with cagefighter Reid in a quickie ceremony at the Wynn Hotel yesterday, the newlyweds were toasting their futures at Spearmint Rhino.

While many a bride and groom might mark their big day with an evening reception with family and friends, Katie and Alex surrounded themselves with scantily clad pole-dancing women instead.

The pair were thought to have visited a string of strip joints, including Sapphire Gentlemen's Club.

Katie, 31, dressed in black Latex trousers and a faux fur gilet jacket. But a notably absent accessory was her wedding ring.

But Alex was wearing his - believed to be a $3,475 gold band with rectangular diamond insets.

Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex, 34, dressed casually in jeans and a T-shirt.

In a move that will stun regular observers, there appears to have been no magazine photographers present to capture the publicity-hungry couple's wedding.

No magazine deal

Katie and Alex exchanged vows in the marriage chapel at the Wynn Hotel yesterday at 4pm local time.

Price and Reid claim to have deliberately sought to avoid commercialising their wedding to show they are genuinely in love.

Happily for fans, however, the ITV2 team, who record her every move for What Katie Did Next,  were on hand to record the blessed moment for posterity.

They'd given a hint of their plans a couple of hours as they were spotted shopping for rings near to their five-star Planet Hollywood hotel on Sunset Strip.

A statement released by their agent confirmed: 'Katie and Alex are delighted to announce that they got married in a private, simple ceremony at 4pm (PST) on February 2nd in Las Vegas.'

The newlyweds said in the statement: 'We are very much in love and look forward to the future together. We can’t wait to get back and celebrate our marriage with our friends and family who we know fully support our wishes.’

The spokesman added: 'Their decision to marry has not been made with any pre-conceived commercial plan or media deal in place, and their reason for getting married is purely down to their love for each other.'

But an insider told MailOnline: 'Her ITV2 camera crew were with her and could well have filmed the wedding.

'But Katie is not sure yet whether she will allow the footage to be aired. 

'She has not signed any magazine deal for the wedding photographs but they are likely to do an interview about it when they get back.'

After a 22-minute ceremony in the rose-strewn chapel, the couple left holding hands and smiling - clutching a marriage licence. 

Then they returned to their $10,000-a-night penthouse honeymoon suite before heading out.

While it is unknown which wedding package the couple opted for, a marriage ceremony at the Wynn hotel's wedding chapel costs as little as $500.

Meanwhile, back in Britain, Katie's ex husband Peter Andre initially said he was not bothered by the marriage - so long as Reid is a good influence on their children.

Peter - who has two children, Junior, four, and two-year-old Princess Tiaamii, with Katie - told Chris Moyles on his Radio 1 breakfast show: 'I've thought about this, all of this morning, and I thought as long as they're a positive influence on my kids that's all I care about.

'If they're happy great, it's none of my business.'

However, Pete, 36, did become upset later when he appeared on Kay Burley's Afternoon Show on Sky TV.

On the show to talk about his upcoming tour, he was quizzed about his feelings towards Alex - and the fact the fighter will become step-father to Andre's children.

A clip of an interview with Price's ex Dwight Yorke, who had spoken of his anger that Andre had tried to adopt his son by the model, Harvey, pushed him over the edge.

Andre said he would 'fight to the death' for his children.

Less than two months ago, Reid did not appear to pose a problem to Andre after he was publicly humiliated by her I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

However, after flying back from Australia - where he had gone to propose - Reid won her over and then the public during his time in the Big Brother house.

Before heading to Vegas he said he was thrilled with the way things had got back on track with Price.

'It's been a fantastic start to the new year and it's going to be even more fantastic now this is happening,' he revealed. 'I actually asked Katie to marry me after my fight in September, so it's something we've been discussing for some time.'

And he said his fiancée was misunderstood by the public.

'I hope the public learns something from this. Four weeks ago I was the bad guy getting booed, now they're cheering me.

'They got it wrong about me and they've got it wrong about Katie.'

Price met Reid at Michelle Heaton's birthday party on July 19.

TV commitments prevent Alex from taking Katie on honeymoon

There will be no honeymoon for Katie Price and Alex Reid.

Just like the ‘consummate professionals’ they are, the newlyweds will be separated for work as Reid has to jet to India for his new TV show.

Reid is flying to Nashik in Maharashtra, on Saturday, where he will be thrown into a boot camp.

And Reid has also been banned from having sex during his travels in a bid to keep his mind focused.

Reid is preparing to fight the UK’s current Middleweight Ultimate Challenge World Champion Tom ‘Kong’ Watson and as part of his training will travel to six different countries, where he will learn six fighting styles.

And producers on his Bravo TV show have told Reid there are to be no distractions – and have banned his new wife from joining him.

A source said: ‘Alex has to train hard and have no distractions, there is no glitz at his Indian training camp.

‘He has to be focused to win, and Jordan has been told she cannot come with him to India, so she is going to Los Angeles for work.

‘The production team are primed for Jordan to have a bit of a hissy fit though and fly out there anyway.

‘It’s not much of a honeymoon, that’s for sure.’

Reid will travel back on Valentine’s Day after being taught the art of Kushti – Indian wrestling – and the bizarre pressure point skill of Marma Adi.

Reid will then put into practise everything he has learned on his journey when he battles to be crowned King of the BAMMA Middleweights – screened ‘as live’ on Bravo as a separate fight.

Why cant people just leave them alone. If they have made a mistake so what - the kids wont suffer as Pete gives them the stability they need.

I think Alex has missed a great opportunity here. He seems like a nice bloke and having won CBB he could have made a bit of a showbiz career for himself. Unfortunately, being married to Katie won't revive her popularity, but it will have a negative effect on his! Bad move Alex!!!

Peter Andre treated her so badly...so she's entitled to find true happiness at last. She's been a saint with her kids, despite being hounded by the press and really wanting to slip out of the limelight and just be a mum. Now I think we'll see her more as the Audrey Hepburn sort of role model that would make her loved by the public again. She'll never be quite the iconic figure Princess Diana was to the world, but she's a decent, caring person who deserves more respect than she's had lately. We can wish them both well. How tacky ! How much lower will Pricey sink to make money ? Oh yeah -she will come back to Blighty and do it all again with another price tag attatched ofcourse and sell it to the highest bidder- just so that her so called friends and family can join in on the sham and scam ! Those poor children, has she no shame ? Enough is enough !!
