Rustic Grain-Free Crunchy Almond Sesame Crackers #SundaySupper

grain free sesame crackers

Totally Grain Free sesame crackers made with almond flour sea salt and coconut sugar!  I love sesame crackers and these grain free crackers are delish! My #Sunday Supper team is doing a “free food” theme hosted by Bea from “The Not So Cheesy kitchen” featuring Gluten Free, Dairy free, and Nut Free … whatever free recipes this week. I love this theme!! There are so many people who cannot tolerate certain foods or who choose not to eat certain foods and who better than the Sunday Supper team to create some fabulous recipes for them! I myself cut gluten out of my diet a few months back and I see a difference in the way I feel. Lately I have been trying to go grain free and one of the things I miss are crackers. So I decided to make sesame crackers with almond flour. I’ve made sesame crackers before and I swapped the flour for almond flour. It came out so good! Crunchy sesame crackers bursting with flavor! I used a combo of black and white sesame seeds and had so much seed in them my crackers were bursting with sesame flavor. I topped some with nut butter and  homemade blackberry jam  and they were delish! These crackers are gluten free, dairy free, vegan, paleo and grain free and super yummy! Just goes to prove that free stuff can be all good ;) ! I am making a bigger batch of these crackers soon!

Just a note : Don’t be too crazy about getting perfect squares. It’s not very easy with all the good stuff in it , but you get yummy imperfect shaped crackers which I like to call rustic !

Nutrition Wise!

Almonds are bursting with good heart healthy vitamin E, Mono-unsaturated fat, healthy fiber and antioxidants. Sesame seeds add a burst of iron in addition to all the properties listed for almonds. Put these two together and you have a super healthy sesame cracker that is yummy to boot!
