George Osborne

The Conservative politician has been MP for Tatton in Cheshire since 2001 and was appointed Chancellor of the Exchequer in May 2010. As a result of the financial crisis of 2008-2009, Osborne's economic policy has been based heavily on austerity as he attempts to reduce the national debt
