'You appear riddled with herpes': Lord Of The Rings star Dominic Monaghan sent woman 'vile messages' after she turned him down for sex

Dominic Monaghan allegedly sent a slew of vile text messages to a woman who claims the messages were sent after she turned him down for sex.

The Lord Of The Rings star criticised the anonymous woman as being ‘riddled with herpes’ after she apparently rejected him.

According to the woman, the pair met at the Los Angeles retail store where she works, but things turned sour when she didn’t want to sleep with him.

She shared text messages the Lost actor allegedly sent her with Radar Online, including one which reads: ‘You appear riddled with herpes n smell odd. I couldn’t invite you to one of my three houses I’d be nervous you would steal s***.’

Radar reports that Monaghan has confirmed he sent the texts but claimed he doesn’t believe them to be lurid, and allegedly said: ‘I wonder if you are aware that she has been calling me for over two years when I have repeatedly asked her not to.

‘Today [Monday] I told her again via text that her behavior was troubling to me and for her not to contact me.’

The woman said: ‘I met Dominic more than a year ago when he came into the establishment I was working in at the time. He was sort of eyeballing me, so I said hi and we exchanged phone numbers.’

‘Soon we talked about going out on a date, but he got mad when I wouldn’t find my way to him. I told him the gentlemanly thing to do would be to pick me up for a date. He told me he wasn’t a "taxi service" and that I’d have to earn that with him.’

According to the source, Monaghan, 36, bragged that because he is a well-known actor, he just likes to sleep around instead of dating.

‘Right off the bat he just wanted sex,’ she claimed to Radar. ‘I wasn’t really down for that, and I told him that I wouldn’t just sleep with him because I’m not that kind of girl.

“He never gave it a chance, like didn’t even want to get to know me. It’s sad. He told me he didn’t care because I was hot.’

Another of the British-German’s lewd text messages said: ‘You don’t want to hang out n yet you hit me up even when I treat you like the dumb dumb you are. Take. A. Hint. And a wash.’

The actor was also keen to boast about his success and smirked that his ‘movies have made over 3 billion dollars’, and later added: ‘I have 20+ million in the bank. How you living?’

The woman recalled how Monaghan would ask her to come round to his place for drinks.

‘We only talked on the phone a couple of times,’ she told Radar. ‘Sometimes he slurred his words and sounded like he’d been drinking, but he was always trying to convince me to come over.

‘He told me I should come to his house and get loosened up. He likes scotch and whiskey, so that’s what he meant. But I was like, no way!’

The source claimed that she didn’t want anything in return for telling her story and added: ‘People need to know that he’s not the nice guy he appears to be. He’s trash.

‘Just because he’s a celebrity doesn’t give him the right to treat women that way. He just can’t treat people like that.’

A representative for Monaghan did not immediately respond when contacted by Mail Online for comment.
