MOCO LOCO is 10 years on the web this year, to mark the occasion this week we're talking to designers from where we began, our home town of Montreal. We asked designer Guillaume Sasseville for his five favourite places in Montreal right now. Above, restaurant Big in Japan.


1. Big in Japan

"I had the best night ever here during a snowstorm, only people that lived within a radius of 250 meters of the place were there. Dark, warm and intriguing."

2. Sana

"A Pakistani restaurant on rue Jarry. I always take the table on the left at the back beneath the large screen TV. Yeah, it can be a bit distracting, but amazing!"

3. Kazu

"A Japanese restaurant on rue Sainte-Catherine."

4. Alexandraplatz

"A beer garden in the heart of the industrial area of Little Italy."

5. Le café Bicicletta

"Known for their Italian spritz. Warning, it'll make you really happy!!"
