Becky Law, a member of the Dupont Methodist Church in Dupont, has information to add to the DAR's 1941 survey:
*I found at the library a death record Thomas Perry Age 23, died October 1870,
so he would have been in the infantry at age 18 or before.

Additional Graves:
*Grave of Louisiana Rawlings. Stone says wife of E. Rawlings died May 23, 1957 at age 52 years 18 days.
Family records at the library indicate Louisiana was the second wife of Eleazer Rawling.
Eleazer was the father of Vincent and Moses Rawlings. Vincent is listed on a deed for the Church
as one of the trustees of the original Methodist Episcopal Church of Dupont.
Sally Rawlings was listed at the library as Eleazers first wife.
*We (Becky Law, Elbert Hinds, and other members of the Dupont Methodist Church)
also found a grave stone for Mary O. or Mary C. we cant make out the middle letter,
daughter of V & C Rawlings, she died February 5, 1847 at the age of 11 years and 10 months.
She was not listed at the library, as it says many children and blacks were not listed at the time.
