The 1941 cemetery transcriptions of the John Paul Chapter DAR list a cemetery on what was then Lloyd’s farm in Section 30 Twp 4N Range 9E. The transcription gives the following notes: “An abandoned graveyard near Wilson's Cave. Said to have had a church there at one time called Ebenezer.” Since Ebenezer is clearly identified with Slippery Point Cemetery, it seems possible this was an older site for the church cemetery. (Or the DAR is wrong).

D.A.R.'s notes:

An abandoned graveyard near Wilson's Cave. Said to have had a church
there at one time called Ebenezer.

Land entered by Daniel Lattimore, and sold by him to Abraham McCrory.

About a dozen field stones are standing there and an old stone wall
enclosing some graves.

          One stone with letters: "A.Mc"

Wilsons are buried here also.
