Opera Mobile / Opera Mini

The mini team has been working hard to bring you a new version of Opera Mini for feature phones just before the summer vacations, so you can take this update with you wherever you are heading this summer (or winter if you live in the southern hemisphere : ) )

We have some exciting new features, like Private Mode, a new Download Manager, a new skin, with UI enhancements for touch devices, and many many fixes to ensure you get the best experience when you are on the go with your favorite Browser.

Today we have released a new version of Opera Mini for Symbian/S60. The main focus of this release has been the download handling improvments, but of course we have also managed to add in a few stability and bug fixes.

Hope you enjoy Opera Mini 7.1 for Symbian/S60. Below in the changelog you can see exactly all the little goodies that we have included in this release

Changelog:

• Possibility to rename files before download
• Non-finished downloads are now preserved upon browser exit and can be resumed in the next browser session
• Support for resuming of a failed download
• Target folder is now saved for each type of download (e.g. music, images or video)
• Added warning dialog if download with the same filename already exists
• Various improvements and bug fixes for Speed Dial and Smart Page
• Localization updates
• Connection stability improvements
• Other bug- and stability fixes
