WordPress Developer (San Francisco)

We’re looking for a veteran web developer with professional experience working with WordPress.

About you:

  • You can contribute to the development of our websites through a number of different projects and products.
  • You have the ability to handle both the front-end and backend to get the project to completion; this is critical.
  • You recognize the importance of delivering quality work and are diligent about validating your changes to ensure they’re ironclad.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Experience developing on the WordPress platform
  • Extensive knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of WordPress plugins and how to best utilize them
  • Knowledge of optimizing WordPress sites for best search engine results
  • Google Analytics
  • Google Keywords Research

  • Ability to learn new software with no formal training or documentation
  • Website design/branding/print design experience a must
  • Authored a number of plugins for WordPress
  • Worked with cross-domain RPC-XML calls
  • Ability to manage WordPress deployment
  • Experience with high-scale, high-visibility websites
  • Knowledge with caching systems
  • Experience administering Apache on CentOS

Ad Operations Manager (San Francisco)

We’re looking for a strong lead for the ad operations team who will support our sales group. The right individual will be responsible for trafficking and ad server management, ad network optimization, and various ad product and creative development projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Media and custom campaign testing, implementation, trafficking, delivery management, and reporting
  • Vetting, testing and troubleshooting third-party ad products
  • Ensuring that vendor products work correctly across all platforms
  • Communicating technical issues in a manner that is easy for a non-technical audience to understand
  • Daily revenue optimization of multiple ad networks — from remnant to premium — across desktop, mobile and tablet
  • Implementing technically challenging advertising campaigns for key accounts
  • Managing and maintaining excellent relationships with outside vendors, clients, developers, and networks
  • Tracking of all revenue sources on a monthly basis
  • Management of adops calendar, including execution of weekly newsletters and sponsored content

The position is located San Francisco, and the start date is ASAP. We’re looking for someone with exceptional organizational, relationship management, and communication skills. 3 plus years of experience in online advertising is preferred.

The ideal candidate is very tech savvy, has a working knowledge of ad sales and operations workflow, and thrives in a fast paced team environment. Expertise with DoubleClick (DFP) and Excel is required. Experience with WordPress and basic understanding of HTML is a plus.

Graphic Design Intern (San Francisco)

We’re looking for an awesome graphic design intern to take work on a number of meaningful projects for multiple departments, from sales and marketing to events.
