9/11 Hero Detained, Harassed by Homeland Security

An internationally-famous 9/11 hero was detained for ten hours and harassed by Homeland Security agents on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the attacks.

The detention and harassment appears to have been a set-up designed to curtail the subject’s media interviews and punish him for telling the truth about what he experienced on September 11th, 2001.

The subject’s testimony, widely repeated in his speeches and media interviews which have reached hundreds of millions of people, supports contentions that the World Trade Center skyscrapers were taken down in controlled demolitions.

The subject, whose name has been withheld from this story at his request, was arrested at 26 Federal Plaza in New York City on Friday, September 8th – two days before the 10th anniversary of 9/11. He had been invited to an interview with Voice of America [CIA], the federal propaganda outlet, which had mildly surprised him but had not, unfortunately, set off alarm bells. After all, he had been doing nonstop interviews with just about every other big media outlet on the planet, so why not Voice of America? [...This governing body was established in 1993 to replace the Board for International Broadcasters, which was created in 1973 to manage broadcasting companies previously funded by the CIA.^[7] ]

Three months ago, one of the CIA's most experienced clandestine operatives started work inside the New York Police Department. His title is special assistant to the deputy commissioner of intelligence. On that much, everyone agrees.

Exactly what he's doing there, however, is much less clear.

Since The Associated Press revealed the assignment in August, federal and city officials have offered differing explanations for why this CIA officer - a seasoned operative who handled foreign agents and ran complex operations in Jordan and Pakistan - was assigned to a municipal police department. The CIA is prohibited from spying domestically, and its unusual partnership with the NYPD has troubled top lawmakers and prompted an internal investigation.

His role is important because the last time a CIA officer worked so closely with the NYPD, beginning in the months after the 9/11 attacks, he became the architect of aggressive police programs that monitored Muslim neighborhoods. With the earlier help from this CIA official, the police put entire communities under the microscope based on ethnicity rather allegations of wrongdoing, according to the AP investigation.

It was an extraordinary collaboration that at times troubled some senior CIA officials and may have stretched the bounds of how the CIA is legally allowed to operate in the United States.

TRIPOLI (The Borowitz Report) Satire – As arrests mounted in the Occupy Wall Street protest in New York City, Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) issued a stern statement today warning the NYPD to exercise restraint.

“The Libyan transitional government regards any attempt to infringe upon the American protesters’ right to express themselves as a violation of international standards of free speech and liberty,” the Libyan statement read.  “We will not sit idly by and watch this happen.”

Drones to Monitor U.S. Citizens

Barack Obama’s government is expanding its use of remote-controlled drone aircraft from monitoring and killing its enemies overseas to tracking and monitoring average Americans here inside the United States. These are the same drones that the U.S. military claims have successfully assassinated so many of its political opponents abroad.

According to two recent documents circulated by the U.S. Army, the White House is seeking vendors to help it develop “tagging, tracking and locating” technology as part of a network of unmanned drones that would hover over American cities and towns, videotaping people as they go about their daily tasks. They could then use facial recognition technology to feed this information into a centralized database that would allow the government to more efficiently monitor our daily lives.

Occupy Wall Street Affiliated With Professional Revolutionary Organization OTPOR (CIA)

Otpor was created by the CIA-NED etc. to to topple Milosevic in 1999 after the US bombing of Serbia. It is time for Occupy Wall Street to clean house of intelligence community spooks of all kinds.

The guy in the below video is Ivan Marovic. That name probably doesn’t mean much to you, because I know it didn’t mean much to me until I did some further digging. It turns out that Mr. Marovic is the co-founder of Otpor!. Otpor! was a key organization in the Serbian Wars in the 1990s and was also an influence in the Egypt uprisings.
