People of the Lie: The Psychopathology of the “Public Servant” and the Sociopathology of the State

“We hang the petty thieves and appoint the great ones to high office.”
– Aesop

As the recent Pentagon scandal makes all too clear, truth is treason in the empire of lies.  Which is why attempting to shoot the messenger – by imprisoning the whistleblower and/or slandering the publisher – makes perfect sense for an arm – indeed, the very arms – of the United States government.  So if we are to understand its logic (as all of its actions, however insane, are perfectly logical to it), we must understand the pathology that lies at its core.  For unless and until we do, we cannot understand why government per se – i.e., the state, defined as “a monopoly on the use of force within its borders” – does what it does; why its functionaries lie so shamelessly on its behalf; and, most importantly, why its presumed masters – We the People – put up with it.
We begin by amending Friedrich Nietzsche’s blunt statement – “Everything the State says is a lie, and everything it has it has stolen” – with a simple substitution of one word with another – i.e., “Everything the State says is a lie because everything it has it has stolen.”  Being no less blunt, let us examine this statement to determine its verity.

Congress and American economists are blaming China for America's economic woes.

But as I've previously pointed out, while China's weak Yuan policy is hurting the U.S. to some extent, America's economic problems are largely of its own making.

As I have previously documented, America's too big to fail banks and government have destroyed our economy by:

High Noon In America

By Giordano Bruno

Neithercorp Press – 10/06/2010

Time is running out in the little western town of Hadleyville. Frank Miller, the leader of a violent gang that terrorized the hapless settlement years ago, was sent to the gallows by Will Kane, the local marshal, but the justice system failed, and now after so long, Frank Miller is free, heading back to Hadleyville on the noon train to meet his men, and take revenge…

Will Kane is just married, just retired, and just about to leave town when he gets the news that the tyrant he had deposed is about to waltz back into the parish with impunity and begin killing the people who sent him away. Everyone is afraid of reverting back to the terrible past they had left behind them. Kane decides to stay in town until the matter is resolved, and he reaches out to the local community for assistance in stopping Miller’s band of thugs. There’s just one problem; no one will help him…

And so begins ‘High Noon’, a film I had seen when I was younger and loved, but did not fully appreciate until today. Being a kind of “cinema scholar”, I had always been struck with how different High Noon was from almost every other western I had ever seen. Sure, ‘The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly’ was fantastic, and ‘The Wild Bunch’ was genius, but these movies were about “anti-heroes” who only did the right thing by accident, or because fate pressured them into following their consciences. In High Noon, Will Kane (played by Gary Cooper) is trying desperately to follow his conscience and do what he knows is right, but everyone, including the people he is trying to save, attempts to stop him! I found so many parallels between the story in High Noon and the story of our American society today, the Liberty Movement, and the global elites trying to ransack our country at this very moment, that I just had to write an article exploring what it all means.

Here are some of the lessons I learned from High Noon…

Too Big to Allow: Some Unmentioned Ramifications of 911 Truth

by Michael Everyman | 6/3/09

Does anyone ever think about a world where the unofficial story of 911 actually turns out to be true? What would happen if an alternative 911 theory was proven as fact? Well, maybe people have thought about it, but seems like nobody ever says anything. Why? Sadly, it is for the very reason of the resulting disturbing scenario that any 911 truth may never be told, as it involves a wrench thrown into the system beyond anything most anyone would ever want to imagine..

For several years I have followed the 911 Truth Movement. I read, watched, and learned more than my share, heard opinions and counter-opinions, and like many, have sorrowfully concluded that there was definitely some sort of official deception involved in those September 2001 events, be it a large scale cover-up or a diabolical inside job. Debatable though my 911 opinion may be, it is not the purpose of this article.

What I would like to consider is the still hypothetical scenario of what would happen next if it actually was undeniably illustrated that the US government was involved at some level in the events of 911. I mean, let’s suppose a truely independent commission concluded it, or some juicy factoid or video leaked, or a major whistle-blower stepped forward. And bang, there you go, its accepted that 911 truthers were correct with their alternate theory, people agree the US government was in on it, puzzle solved. The world moves forward a day.
