She turned 55 in April.

But Andie MacDowell showed she's continuing to defy her age as she went make-up free for an outing in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

Showing off her enviable figure in a pair of tight yellow jeans, the Four Weddings And A Funeral actress revealed a slim figure that belied her years.

Chatting happily on her phone as she strolled down Rodeo Drive, Andie also flaunted her equally youthful skin, which glowed with health despite being free from any trace of make-up.

Although MacDowell's choice of pastel-coloured jeans was marred slightly by an unflattering white muslin top, she looked radiant and clearly didn't see the need in loading up on accessories.

Preferring a low-key look, the only adornments she added to her outfit were a black bag and gold bangle.

Her good humour could well be due to the fact her career is currently on the up.

The actress, who appeared in Groundhog Day alongside Bill Murray, currently stars as divorced municipal court judge Olivia Lockhart in Hallmark's first original scripted series, Cedar Cove.

The initial reception to the show has been positive. The pilot was watched by 3.8 million viewers and it was a top-trending show on social media according to Trendrr.

The Green Card actress, who was divorced from her second husband in 2004, spoke recently of the perks of working alongside her handsome co-star Dylan Neal, 43.

‘Every time I touch Dylan's arm I swoon,' she enthused.

‘It truly is like something out of a romance novel. When you watch him walk into a room, you can see his pecs because of the way he cocks his shoulders, and I get a little breathless.’

Following the first season finale, the movie Cedar Cove Christmas, will air on September 28 in the United States.

She looks her age. Which contradicts the article. But she is happy and confident in herself. Which is good for her and a lesson to some other folk who will not grow up.

Andie has a very distinctive look with her wide forehead and curly dark hair plus her impish smile. She is very attractive rather than classically beautiful as well as being a good actress. Loved her in 4 weddings and a funeral.

There are a lot of sophisticated, intelligent men who will always find a 55-year-old Andie MacDowell type far sexier than any 20-something.
