Leah Remini is proving that she doesn't need Scientology to be happy.

The 43-year-old star looked happy with a job well done as she left rehearsal for Dancing With The Stars at a Los Angeles, California studio on Saturday.

Leah, who wore a matching grey tracksuit and some simple athletic trainers on the day, will appear in the competition's upcoming 17th season.

In her first TV interview since cutting ties from the Church Of Scientology, Leah chatted with Ellen DeGeneres on Friday about the punishing DWTS practices.

Though the competition can be a lot of fun, there's one obvious downside: Leah's been hurting in 'places I didn't know could hurt.'

'It's so much harder than I thought, and most people do say that, but it's true,' Leah, best known for her role on The King Of Queens, explained.

She could've been talking about leaving Scientology, which she ditched in July in a highly publicized exit - Leah told People Magazine that she's 'not about to shut up' about the church's transgressions.

The departure came after she was allegedly punished and put under the church's controversial 'thought modification' process after criticizing Scientology practices and leaders.

Also spotted on Saturday were actor and musician Corbin Bleu, comedian Bill Engvall and professional dancers Emma Slater, Karina Smirnoff and Cheryl Burke.

Emma certainly looked sharp in a pair of skintight, high-waisted black trousers and a retro button-down with paisley accents.

She later chummed it up with Bill and appeared to have changed out her top, donning a fiery red blouse.

Corbin and Karina also flashed smiles as they left rehearsal, with Corbin wearing a tight black tank-top and matching shorts while Karina sported a black shirt and some baggy sweatpants.

Meanwhile, Bill showed off some of his new moves in the parking lot as he sipped on a sports drink.

He wore a bright blue shirt, matching Cheryl in bringing a splash of colour to the predominantly monochrome slate of outfits.

Cheryl's partner Jack Osbourne also seemed in better spirits after receiving the tragic news of his wife's miscarriage earlier this week.

Dancing With The Stars returns to TV in a new one-night, two-hour format on September 16.
