Gorgeous Sandra Bullock brought everybody down to earth at the Gravity premiere on Sunday.

The actress pulled in every gaze her way as she strolled down the red carpet in a tight-fitting strapless frock that featured a bold, block pattern of black, green and beige in descending order.

It was hard to believe that Sandra is pushing 50 as she posed that amazingly toned figure to and fro, before turning on her elegant teal and gold-tipped heels to join the rest of her party gathered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival in Canada.

Sandra wore her long, dark-brown hair in a satiny trail down her back while two slim bracelets graced her left arm.

Minimal was the word as reflected in Sandra's natural-toned make-up and lack of bling accessories.

Sandra, 49, seemed just as excited as everybody else to finally see this moment arrive after months of hard work.

She worked the red carpet solo and without her handsome co-star George Clooney, a previous TIFF staple who was apparently filming a movie in Vancouver, according to Huffington Post.

The slender star stepped over to her director Alfonso Cuaron and gave him a hug while posing for more pictures.

In the movie Sandra plays Dr Ryan Stone, a medical engineer on her first space shuttle mission alongside veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky, played by George Clooney.

They must fight to survive after an accident leaves them adrift in space 372 miles above the earth.

The difficult shoot required Sandra to be suspended from 12 wires in a 9-by-9-foot, LED-lit cube, 10 feet above the ground, to give it the feel of outer space.

A job like that would test to even the strongest stomach.

Sandra told the press at Comic-Con in July that she and director Alfonso Cuaron organised music for her to listen to during filming to stave off feelings of anxiety and loneliness.

'You were able to create a soundtrack,' she said. 'They were able to create that for you while you were doing a scene. So you could feel something outside of this extreme loneliness while you were in this cube.'

'There is nothing to carry sound,' a statement at the start of the film's trailer reveals. 'No air pressure, no Oxygen. Life in space is impossible.'

She's 49... I always forget what her age is. She could pass for late 20s, early 30s. Sure she hasnt had any kids but you would think being in the hollywood industry would age her like many celebs because its a stressful industry. She has always been classy, love her!
