He is famous for playing the tough guy in a series of action films.

But Colin Farrell has passed the ultimate test of manliness - showing that you're comfortable being in touch with your feminine side.

The In Bruges star looked a far cry from the characters he is best known for on Friday when he was seen shopping at Whole Foods in West Hollywood.

Colin was spotted carefully carrying a paper bag full of his groceries, including some organic lettuce, after paying at the checkout.

The 37-year-old appeared to have just finished a workout as he was clad in gym gear.

Colin was dressed in a white tank top which showed off the muscles on his bulging biceps, along with black tracksuit bottoms with white stripes.
