There's a tennis match? Miranda Kerr ensures all eyes are on HER as she goes braless under a skimpy top at US Open

The day belonged to Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka, who were battling it out on court at the women's final of the US Open.

But there was another woman stealing the attention in New York on Sunday as Miranda Kerr raised eyebrows in a daring top.

The 30-year-old supermodel dressed down in jeans and flats for her day at Flushing Meadows but it was her low-cut black vest top, which she wore without a bra and showing a glimpse of side-boob, which grabbed attention.

Spectators could have been forgiven for spending more time looking at Kerr, rather than the action on the court.

Leaving her husband Orlando and two-year-old son Flynn at home, Miranda watched the tennis with a blonde female friend.

Kerr sported bright red lipstick, aviator shades and discreet gold jewellery and carried a large black bag.

This wasn’t Miranda’s only braless close call in recent days, the former Victoria’s Secret model hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons when her decision to go bra-less underneath a sheer outfit backfired on Friday night.

She had been hoping to impress with her black lace dress and cape at the premiere of documentary Mademoiselle C in New York but her fashion faux pas occurred when she lifted her arms up to adjust her hair, causing the cape piece of the dress to rise and reveal her cleavage.

However, Miranda - who otherwise looked stunning in the dress, which featured a revealing lace top and fishtail skirt - appeared unaware of her wardrobe malfunction, smiling widely as she posed for photographers.

She teamed her outfit with side-swept loose curls, red nails and simple jewellery as she walked the dark red carpet at the Florence Gould Hall.

Meanwhile, Miranda wasn’t the only star watching as Serena Williams was crowned champion on Sunday, US Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour couldn’t resist taking time out from New York Fashion Week to check out the action.

Eva Longoria and her chum Ricky Martin were also there to cheer on the female athletes and could be seen jumping from their seats as Serena and Victoria traded points nearly evenly during the first two sets.

The 41-year-old Livin' La Vida Loca hitmaker looked pleased to be hanging out with the Desperate Housewives alum and his 38-year-old cohort seemed just as excited to spend time with a friend following her recent split from Ernesto Arguello.

Have you ever thought that top was meant to been worn braless? Maybe it was the style of the top either way bra or no bra DM would of made a story about her going to the tennis and have the title 'Miranda Kerr flashes bra' or something like that. She still looks classy unlike Miley who goes braless every day looking like absolute trash.

oh please, revealing her breasts was all part of the well organised publicity plan. its so obvious. Who walks around without the bra anyway? Attention seeking individual, that's who!!

I get so sick of DM using the terms "vamping it up" or "vamp out". Before there were "Vampires" women wore red lipstick, DM!!
