Lisa Osbourne has lunch with a friend as she is seen for the first time since announcing tragic miscarriage

Lisa Osbourne emerged on Saturday after announcing the news that she suffered a late-term miscarriage last week.

The wife of reality star Jack went to lunch with a friend at a restaurant in the affluent Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, California.

She was spotted wearing a blue-and-red striped T-shirt, some roughed-up denim shorts and a short pixie haircut instead of her formerly long locks.

Lisa rounded out the look with a pair of cream-framed sunglasses and some white sneakers with grey toe caps.

Husband Jack, meanwhile, was busy today at dance rehearsal for his upcoming stint on reality competition Dancing With The Stars - on which he's paired up with Cheryl Burke.

Hard to type: Lisa announced the news of her miscarriage through a statement on her blog RaddestMom.com

Jack and Lisa, both 27, were married in October and announced their second pregnancy about one month ago.  

The couple have no doubt found great strength in their relationship, especially with 16-month-old daughter Pearl to take care of.

'It’s important to stay hopeful and optimistic through life’s toughest moments. We never know why things like this happen,' she wrote on her website on Thursday.

'All we can do is trust in God and know he has a plan for our lives.'

And Lisa seems to be keeping herself busy even getting back on Twitter to chat about other things in her life.

'I think my dogs got into it with a skunk right outside. I can barely breath (sic) it smells so bad even in the house!' she tweeted late Saturday evening.
