Mommy's little star! Heidi Klum's youngest Lou finally gets to join in the fun as she joins her brothers on the soccer pitch

Last season Heidi Klum had a constant cheerleading sidekick when she watched her children play soccer.

This season, however, things have changed with the model's youngest, Lou, finally getting her chance on the field.

The three-year-old got to dress up her very own soccer uniform in Sunday in Brentwood, California.

While the toddler did not get to play in the 'big kid' games with brothers Henry and Johan and sister Leni, she did get a chance to start to learn the game that her siblings love so much.

While mother Heidi was losing her sideline companion, the model clearly could not be happier seeing her daughter - whose father is her former husband Seal - wearing her uniform.

While the older children wore the blue and white uniforms of the their club, Lou wore bright red shorts and matching T-shirt with the words, 'Sun, Fun, Soccer!!!'

Proud as punch of the newest player in the family, Heidi fussed over the little girl as she watched the older children play.

The 40-year-old kept rearranging her daughter's new uniform pulling up the still a bit big shorts and pulling down the toddler's T-shirt.

The model must have been getting a little sentimental about her baby growing up, as the German stunner could not stop hugging Lou and giving her big kisses.

The enormity of the moment was a bit lost on the tiny tot who seemed more interested in braiding one of her mother's friends hair.

Heidi, as always, looked stunning for a casual day of watching the children play.

The model looked impossibly fresh, especially considering she had only just arrived back on the West Coast after a number of action packed days at New York's Fashion Week.

Heidi had only flown back into Los Angeles on Saturday and was straight back into the swing of things.

For her day at the park, the 40-year-old donned tight grey jeans under a large oversize black and white silk shirt with a lion on it.

The Project Runway star accessorised the look with black and white leopard print flats, a crocodile leather black bag and oversized reflective aviators.

Unusually, not at the game was Heidi's bodyguard turned boyfriend Martin Kristen.

The gentle giant has become a large part family's lives becoming like a father to Heidi's four children taking them to soccer games, to school and on other family excursions.

Love watching her with her kids. She's such a hands-on Mom. Given her work schedule, it's so refreshing to see her make sure she has time for the soccer games and all. Those kids have got to feel really well balanced and secure.

I have to say Heidi's dress sense I find dreadful....some things are ok but not great and others are just hideous...shes a pretty woman though, but shes flaunted herself to the degree she has exposed her body completely to the public which I find dreadful..not great when the kiddie winks will be seeing all these pictures when there older...
