For ego reasons not many men like to be the shortest in photographs.

But it seems Daniel Radcliffe has no such qualms, as he happily posed on the red carpet at The

Toronto Film Festival.

The Harry Potter star stood in the middle of his co-stars and was noticeably the shortest.

Tall order: Daniel was looking on the short side

The 24-year- old was in the Canadian city for the world premiere of his new film The F Word: an indie romantic comedy.

Daniel, who plays the lead opposite actress Zoe Kasan in the film, posed next to his co- star.

In her heels she stood taller.

Zoe Kasan looked understated but glamorous in her black, off the shoulder dress.

And her black, high heels were clearly the culprit for making Daniel look short.

Daniel was dressed in a pin-stripe suit and brogues in a rather retro, old-fashioned style.

The film is yet another grown-up venture for the former child star. He's been juggling the promotional

duties for The F Word with those of two other films at the festival.

Horns, a dark fantasy thriller, had its premiere on Friday and following on from a good reception at

The Sundance Film Festival, the beatnik drama Kill Your Darlings was also showing in Toronto for the festival.

The British actor seemed to be enjoying himself despite his busy schedule and was seen in fits of laughter whilst posing with his Killy Your Darlings co-stars at a photo call.

At a press conference he was also seen to be jovial and joked with journalists as he answered questions about the romantic comedy The F Word.

Along with his co-stars he wore a more casual attire for the daytime event, sporting a check shirt, trousers and trainers.

That's an inch taller than the average man..... I agree with many people here.. height doesn't and shouldn't matter... but do me a favour...

Michael J Fox is one of the coolest guys around and he's about the same height as Daniel. Being taller doesn't make you sexier/more talented/cooler/smarter, it just makes you taller. DM, you seem to need to grade people on some pretty shallow ideals.
