Monochrome chic! Heidi Klum rocks a stylish black and white ensemble as she takes her children grocery shopping

It's not exactly what most mothers would wear on a grocery run with their children.

But Heidi Klum isn't exactly your average mother, either.

The 40-year-old model, fashion guru and TV personality was spotted on Monday with her son and daughter at a Whole Foods Market in Los Angeles.

She looked sharply modern in an all-black trouser suit and a bold white-trimmed blouse.

Heidi's trousers showed off some leg above her black-and-white loafers, which matched her entire outfit perfectly.

A pair of sleek wraparound sunglasses and a tight ponytail rounded out her minimalist look.

Meanwhile, her daughter Leni and son Henry seemed to be enjoying a day out with their mother, and they looked just as stylish as Heidi.

Leni rocked a white tank top with wild paisley-print leggings and some gleaming red high-top sneakers.

Henry, meanwhile, sported an olive-green Nirvana T-shirt layered with a bright purple button-down and some grey cargo trousers.

Heidi is no doubt happy to be spending time with her children after returning from New York Fashion Week on Sunday.

She juggled a busy slate of events while in the Big Apple, hitting the catwalk on behalf of Project Runway and even winning fashion TV personality of the year from Daily Front Row.

Shopping for food might not be as glamourous as experiencing designers' newest styles, but it is a nice break from a hectic career.

But it wouldn't last long, as it appears Heidi is traveling again, this time for America's Got Talent: 'The girls all alone :( on the way to NYC for AGT !!!!!!' she tweeted Friday afternoon along with a photo.
