Gym buff Daniel Craig looks fit in sporty gear as he sips on a cold beverage in New York City

He tends to keep himself out of the watchful public eye when he can.

But Daniel Craig had nowhere to hide as he was spotted leaving a juice bar in New York City.

The 45-year-old Brit appeared completely oblivious to the cameras as he drank a juice whilst kitted out in his gym clothes on Tuesday.

The James Bond actor has a reputation to uphold as the world's greatest spy, and seems to be trying to keep to that image, looking trim and toned in a black T-shirt, black shorts, white socks and grey Nike trainers.

Craig kept his look low-key, hiding under a black snap-back cap, with a tuft of his short brunette locks poking out of the back.

The actor slung a navy blue sports bag over his shoulder as his lips were firmly pursed onto his straw.

Craig, who is married to The Mummy actress Rachel Weisz, signed on to do two more Bond films in September 2012, which means there is definitely two more films to follow Skyfall, the highest grossing film worldwide for Sony Pictures.

Craig, who is also the highest grossing actor to play James Bond, was reported to be interested in purchasing a 1,050 acre Dalby Hall Estate in Lincolnshire for £12 million following an extensive house-hunt with his 43-year-old wife.

According to RadarOnline, Craig now has his heart set on the Victorian pile, which covers 10,000 square feet and boasts eight bedrooms, six bathrooms and four half-bathrooms.

The 45-year-old Chester-born actor recently spoke about his wife Rachel Weisz, who is also his co-star in their upcoming Broadway play Betrayal.

'I’m far happier than I’ve been for many years,' Daniel told The Telegraph.

'I think finding the right person and being with the right person is probably the answer to most things.'

Does that qualify as a man bag? The day Daniel Craig wears a murse is the day we all get a license to carry one. Heck, if he wears one the name automatically changes to Craigurse.
