They're expecting their first child together in February.

And it would seem that impending parenthood has made Simon Cowell and pregnant girlfriend Lauren Silverman literally inseparable - with the music mogul even taking her to work with him.

Cowell usually keeps his work and private life relatively separate but on Wednesday he brought his pregnant lover along to the filming of America's Got Talent with him.

And she even got to mingle with his colleagues and stars of his show - including judge Melanie Brown.

The Spice Girls star shared a picture on her Instagram and Twitter pages of the three of them - Simon, Mel and Lauren - all huddled around together talking on the set.

She wrote: 'Me simon cowel and his lovley lady right now live at #AGT who will win?? (sic).'

Mel and Lauren looked like they got on like a house on fire as they were seen cuddling each other and chatting intimately under the watchful eye of Simon.

It comes as Cowell's ex Sinitta has suggested that the music mogul may be ready to actually marry Silverman.

Speaking on ITV's This Morning she commented on how his life will change now he "has his own wife".

Sinitta, 49, said: 'Simon and I have holidayed together for 30 years. It might change if it isn’t what Lauren wants.

'Simon’s a creature of habit, it’s been his tradition, so he will probably think we’ll continue.

'He has his own wife and child so in his mind I imagine he’s thinking we’re all just a bigger family.'

The former pop star also branded Lauren "The One" and added: 'He does seem very happy, they get along incredibly well together. She absolutely adores him.'

And her comments seemed to be correct as Simon and Lauren continued their public display of affection, not leaving each other's side.

Meanwhile, Lauren continued on to meet a friend for lunch, showing off her growing baby bump in a tight-fitting white vest as she chatted away on her mobile phone.

But it doesn't look as though impending fatherhood is encouraging Simon to consider giving up his beloved cigarette habit anytime soon.

And although he was only feet away from the woman who is carrying his first child, Simon didn't seem to have a care in the world as he smoked away to his heart's content.

The pair began their day with a spot of shopping, before enjoying a pampering session at the Tracie Martyn salon.

While it is unclear whether Simon himself had any treatments, Lauren appeared to be glowing after spending the afternoon at the salon of superfacialist Tracie, who counts Madonna, Kate Winslet and Brad Pitt among her celebrity clients.

And Lauren appeared to be so impressed by the treatment that she even stocked up on some skincare products, as she was seen armed with bags from the salon as she headed into her apartment alongside Cowell.

The 53-year-old sported his trademark over-tight T-shirt as he escorted Lauren, 36, home.

And Lauren, who is four months along in her pregnancy, was clearly just as delighted as her famous beau.

The expectant mother wore stiletto boots and skinny jeans as she donned a black blazer for the cool autumn evening.

But Lauren's day out with Cowell wasn't over when they returned to the apartment, as the mogul then treated her to a bite to eat.

Clearly keen to treat his pregnant lover to the finer things in life, Cowell took Lauren to Carbone restaurant.

The Greenwich Village restaurant is widely considered to be one of the hottest eateries in New York, with frequent customers including Beyoncé and Jay Z, Jake Gyllenhaal and Katie Holmes.

Lauren has been in New York to be with her son Adam, whose father is her ex-husband Andrew Silverman.

News of Lauren and Cowell's affair and her subsequent pregnancy was said to have rocked the mogul's harem, which includes singer Sinitta and his ex-fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy, when news first became public on July 31.

However, the brunette beauty is reported to have contacted members of the harem in attempt to soothe over any tensions between them.

But speaking about the pregnancy news on This Morning on Wednesday, Sinitta admitted it certainly came as a shock when Cowell called her to break the news.

She said: 'I was actually in bed asleep and he called which is not unusual because obviously he’s in LA and I was in London so we often speak at odd times and I did think I was having a funny dream, I must admit, because he sort of sounded strange…

'I think he wanted to tell me but hadn’t chosen the words … so I kind of guessed which is just woman's instinct isn’t it.'

Sinitta added that she was stunned because Cowell had always insisted he didn't see fatherhood in his future.

She said: 'He has said to me a number of time over the years that he doesn’t want children so of course I had to get on with my life.

'I knew I definitely wanted children… then once he met Magdalena and Zac and fell in love with them, he said he thought of them as his children so he did embrace them once I had children.'

Earlier this month, Cowell spoke about his romance with Lauren - who was married to Andrew when they first starting dating - and his impending fatherhood.

He told Ellen DeGeneres: 'Because everyone knows, it was well documented, it was kind of uncomfortable. You know, the situation.

'But these things happen and everything is kind of calm now and I'm happy. I'm actually happier than I've ever been.'

He also made a rare public declaration of love, telling People: 'I love her and I love the fact that I'm having this baby.'
