Given that they only tied the knot last weekend, it's unsurprising that John legend and his wife
Chrissy Teigen are happy to indulge in public displays of affection.

But the pair seemed oblivious to other people as they kissed during a romantic honeymoon dinner, last night.

The 34-year-old singer and the 27-year-old model tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at a lavish estate in Italy's Lake Como on Saturday and are now celebrating with a lavish holiday in the region of Portofino.

John, wearing a white scoop-neck t-shirt and green shorts, embraced his bride over their dinner table while they were surrounded by staff at the luxury restaurant.

Chrissy, wearing a semi-sheer black top with her hair in a bun, looked smitten as the pair enjoyed a bottle of red wine.

But their glamorous honeymoon hasn't been completely conventional. The duo recently surprised fans when they revealed they had visited the infamous Florence villa where season four of The Jersey Shore was filmed in 2011.

The pair made a special trip to the location made famous on the MTV reality show.

It may be no coincidence as Chrissy joined former Jersey Shore star Vinnie Guadagnino as a MTV Hangout Fest correspondent last May.

Chrissy was no doubt encouraged to see the apartment house where the cast danced, drank and got into fisticuffs by Vinnie himself.

The newlyweds are seen posing giddily in front of the impressive, tall door and sienna-painted wall in a picture Chrissy posted on her Twitter account on Wednesday.

'We definitely went out of our way to do this,' Chrissy captioned the photo.

Chrissy is seen looking lovely as ever with her brown hair sleekly styled while wearing a black jacket as she leans back into John, who is brandishing one of his wide smiles.

Fortunately, they have also shared more credible pictures of themselves.

In an Instagram snap she posted on Monday night, Chrissy is seen planting a kiss on the R&B star as they spend a romantic day by the lake.

Her pretty white two-piece is made of broderie anglaise fabric and features a diamante brooch fastened in the middle of the bikini top. 

And the low-cut nature of the suit shows off Chrissy's ample cleavage and flawless decolletage.

Meanwhile, hubby John also shared a snap of their honeymoon.

It shows the couple taking a sunset dip in a private pool against the stunning picturesque backdrop of a lake and mountains.

The new bride and groom also posted several snapshots from their romantic Italian wedding via their social networking sites on Sunday.

She followed up the posting by tweeting: 'Too many kind words flooding in. I was serious when I said it was a difficult thing not to share life with you. Love you guys.'

A second black-and-white snapshot featured the couple standing close together in a private, loving moment, with Chrissy wearing a couture sheath gown and bunches of flowers in her hair.

And a third photo posted by John on his Twitter page showed him kicking back with his groomsmen over drinks in a comfortable hotel lounge.

The beauty gave no indication she was about to say 'I do' when she attended shows at New York Fashion Week last Thursday, but she revealed she had purchased three Vera Wang wedding gowns for her special day.

She told the Huffington Post: 'Every time I went in [to Vera Wang] for a fitting, I couldn't stop getting one. It's just too pretty.'

A source previously revealed that they chose the scenic location for their wedding because 'that's where they fell in love.'

The insider said that the couple's guests stayed in a hotel in the region for about four or five days for the celebration.

Chrissy, who got engaged to John in 2011 after four years of dating, also recently said she was feeling relaxed about their nuptials as she had let her wedding planner take complete control of the event.

She said: 'I'm excited. I can't wait for the ceremony. [John] and I have been working and travelling so much that we just let our wedding planner do everything. We're not neurotic about it. I just want to finally see all of my friends in one area.'

Meanwhile, following their honeymoon, John will be heading to London to perform at this year's iTunes Festival on September 28.
