All she wanted was a tuna fish salad.

But when they wouldn't give it to her, Emmy-winning actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus pulled an epic temper tantrum.

The 52-year-old Veep star displayed her acting chops in a nearly three-minute video clip on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday that showed her having a meltdown at a coffee shop.

Jimmy introduced the gag clip by noting that YouTube this past summer has let everyone know what a real temper tantrum looks like.

He showed clips of a man caught on tape in June abusing a poor Wendy's drive-thru cashier because someone put cheese in his hamburger.

There also was a clip of a woman losing her mind in June at an Apple store in Los Angeles after being told she'd have to wait for parts.

The montage also included the July clip of a woman seen kicking and screaming in the front of a car after her husband says he can't take her to the lake on a hot day because he needed to finish his chores.

Jimmy told his studio audience that even nice celebrities such as Julia have meltdowns.

The video opens with Julia at a coffee shop yelling at two servers while several people stand in line.

The Seinfeld star pounds the counter as she barks out her order.

'I would like an almond, milk-free sugar-free latte in a medium cup and a tuna fish salad,' Julia shouts at the man and woman waiting on her.

She slaps a plate off the counter and demands that her order be served immediately.

'Right now,' she yelled.

'She's going crazy,' a voice can be heard whispering off-camera.

'Why are you standing there? Do you want to write it down? Nobody seems to be getting this order. Are you gusy noticing this? This is like f******* crazy?,' she screams as she throws her purse down.

'I want my order. I want my order. I want my order. Please, please, please, please. Give me my order. That's all I want is a tuna fish salad sandwich,' she shrieked as she pushed another item away.

As she picks up her purse, Julia notices someone filming and makes a beeline for the camera as the clip abruptly ends.

'That's why she won the Emmy last night,' Jimmy said.

Julia on Sunday won her second straight Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series for her role as fictional US vice-president Selina Meyer.

She also previously won Emmys for her supporting role as Elaine Benes on Seinfeld and her lead role on The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Julia can next be seen in the big-screen comedy Enough Said starring opposite the late James Gandolfini.

Her family (immensely wealthy) moved out of France to escape the high taxes and yet she opines for obama and high taxes.

I met her in real life when I was in college and she was horribly rude and full of herself. She probably wasn't acting here.

Surely those who weren't "in" on the fact it was all a joke can sue for the trauma? I certainly would, as I find it disturbing to witness. Certainly any children would be traumatised.
