Superfang! Marilyn Manson goes as his vampy self to the season four premiere of his favourite show Eastbound & Down

Marilyn Manson is Eastbound & Down's No. 1 fan and he knows many of the show's quotes by heart.

So it wasn't a total surprise to see the Goth rocker dress up in his best black duds and hit up the season four premiere of HBO series in Los Angeles on Friday.

To some, the 44-year-old's presence at the event turned it into something more like Fright Night thanks to his chalky pale complexion, black fingernails, and slicked back, raven-black hair.

When Marilyn smiled, he exposed razor-sharp 'fangs' of metal, known as a grill, that probably sent a few shivers down the spine.

The heavy metalist has professed his undying love for the comedy many times, and he's also attended the season two and season three premieres of the show.

Eastbound & Down stars Danny McBride in the lead role of a former baseball player who returns to his old middle school to teach physical education.

Let me in: Marilyn has lobbied hard for a role on the raunchy comedy, but they won't let him

Three years ago Marilyn even lobbied to land a guest-starring stint on the program, going so far as to email McBride.

'I get weird emails from Marilyn Manson now,' Danny told MTV in 2010. 'He sends me weird emails in the middle of the night of what he's watching on TV, and you can hear him giggling in the background.

'One time he literally sent me a Peanuts special I guess he was watching, sometimes it's Eastbound, infomercials, anything.'

So happy to be here: The show's star Danny McBride was all smiles one moment and kidding around in praying stance the other

He concluded: 'You know, I equate it to this: Marilyn likes the show, and maybe it would ruin it for him, if he appeared on it.'

One has to wonder if Danny McBride regretted those words if he happened to have a chance run-in with Marilyn at Friday's premiere.

Danny looked pretty upbeat though, wearing jeans, a black shirt and grey blazer.

Veep star Laurie Cole also joined in the fun, looking glamorous in a low-cut, dark gown while clasping a glittery gold-and-black clutch.

He looks oddly feminine...not even slightly scary...pitiable maybe.

Isn’t goth something you grow out of after high school? I think this may be the first 40+ year old that hasn’t let it go yet.

I think the teeth are a ’false flag’ to protect the combover.

There’s nothing more ’vampy’ than and industrial combover.
