Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure, The Lost World

We are tempted to say – kick off your day with something light. Then again, all our recommendations are not for the faint-hearted, especially the Jurassic Park Rapids Adventure. Venture on a trip gone wrong to Outpost B, where torrential rain led to flash floods and dinosaurs stake out the riverbanks. With dinosaurs snarling and baying for blood, your only way out is a thrilling white water drop that is guaranteed to jolt you out of morning slumber. Scratch that. You will kick off your day drenched instead. Luckily, the dry pods are there to keep you dry.

Revenge of the Mummy, Ancient Egypt

You’ve probably watched the Mummy movies, now experience the curse, the wrath and the revenge. We don’t want to scare you off, but to be brutally frank, it’s going to be a hell-raising ride. Okay, other than having an awesome experience, this is an indoor roller coaster, which means you will be queuing in cool temperatures. But that won’t last too long because soon you will be facing the flames of hell, undead from the underworld and man-eating scarabs. And that’s just the beginning.

TRANSFORMERS The Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, Sci-Fi City

Watching a 3D movie is one thing and being part of a 3D movie is another. Fanboys, welcome to TRANSFORMERS The Ride, where we fulfill your life-long dream to be Optimus Prime’s Sergeant-at-Arms. Your mission? Protect the ALLSPARK from the devious DECEPTICONS. This thrilling ride will race you through open streets, subways and even flying off rooftops. Thanks to the uber-realistic 3D technology, you will probably be at the edge of your seat most of the time. It feels so real that you will be wondering why you are still in Sentosa when you should have probably wound up in Sembawang (northern Singapore), given the distance you’ve just covered.

Battlestar Galactica: CYLON vs HUMAN, Sci-Fi Zone

Showstopper. Intense. Crown Jewel. Game changer. And the superlatives go on. The duelling roller coasters (the world’s tallest, by the way) separate the courageous from the daredevils; this is the true barometer of bravery. Choose your poison: the HUMAN seated-ride where it will propel you 14 stories into the air at a speed of 82.8kmh or let your legs dangle while the CYLON roller coaster turns the cock screw and sends you spiraling out of control faster than you can say helter skelter.

Adventure Cove Waterpark

Riptide Rocket

Like its name suggests, Riptide Rocket is fast and quite furious. You and your buddy (this hydro-magnetic water roller coaster takes two) will experience the high of airborne to the desperation of plunges. Talk about a range of emotions. Try balancing the tube before the ride ends, we’ve heard more stories of capsizes than survivors.

Whirlpool Washout

Over at this dizzying ride, you will get a whole new perspective of ‘down the drain’. Buddy up and embark on an adventure that will culminate with you being flushed down the drain (yes, your turn to experience what the toilet paper feels). Hang on tight, it’s going to be a topsy-turvy ride.

Dueling Racer

Feel the need for speed? Look no further. Challenge your friend to a straightforward drag race at the Dueling Racer. The Resort has termed this as the “biggest thrill ever” and we find it hard to disagree. Steep descents, intense action and bragging rights. Experts will try to prolong the rush by reaching the extreme end of the slide.
