Daniel Radcliffe admits he's 'comfortable getting naked' and confesses to a crush on Katy Perry

Daniel Radcliffe seems to go out of his way to find reasons to take off his clothes.

After all, he's only 24-years-old, but he's already gone naked in three films and one play. But on Friday he told Ellen Degeneres he doesn't 'request' going nude though he admits he's plenty 'comfortable' with it.

He also confessed he has a massive crush on Katy Perry.

The talk show veteran starts her interview off by awkwardly saying, 'But you do take your clothes off a lot. In a lot of things.'

Daniel interrupts to explain that he does that for 'jobs.'

Ellen presses on: 'That was my next question. Obviously, I know it’s films and I know it’s the character and it makes sense, but you’re obviously comfortable with that.'

Daniel responds, 'I was having a conversation with another friend of mine who’s an actress who has done quite a few nude scenes and I was just saying we’re going to start getting called exhibitionist.'

Ellen them asks if that actress is Kate Winslet, who has appeared naked for several of her roles most notably in Titanic.

'No, it wasn’t Kate Winslet I was talking to about that,' then laughs.

'It so happens that in all the three movies I did last year I get naked. I promise it’s not intentional.'

The Harry Potter star first stripped down in a Broadway revival of Equus.

He then did nudity for three films, Kill Your Darlings, Horns and The F Word.

But the Brit insists he won't disrobe any more, not even for season two of his show A Young Doctor's Notebook.

'I think there was a discussion about possible nudity for one scene and I think my comment was, "I got naked in three films last year, please can I not?"' he told the Telegraph.

Later in Ellen's interview the daytime icon asked about Daniel's longtime crush Katy Perry, who looked ravishing in black and pink for the Mademoiselle C party in Paris on Tuesday.

'It is true,' the actor said of his admiration of the pop queen.

He also admits he has discussed Katy many times with MTV interviewer Josh Horowitz.

Daniel then reveals he was recently in the same room as the Roar singer, but was too shy to say hello.

'I thought I should go up and say hi,' he begins.

'But then I thought, no. What if she's seen the interviews? What if she thinks you're just some teenaged fan boy. She's already heard that stupid story. So I couldn't, I'm not going to even try.'

The actor then pauses and says, 'She's not here is she?' worried that Ellen may surprise him with a face-to-face.

Ellen then jokes, 'Yes, she's bringing in a naked statue of you.'

'So many of my fantasies,' he marvels.

I haven't watched anything that he has been in since Harry Potter. Probably a great actor though???
