From Tennessee Williams to... David Lynch? Zachary Quinto takes a break from Broadway for a surreal stroll with redheaded twins
|
He is currently receiving rave reviews for his performance in the latest Broadway production of The Glass Menagerie.
But Zachary Quinto looked as if he had stepped onto the set of a David Lynch film on Thursday.
The 36-year-old was seen strolling around Manhattan with a pair of redheaded twins, lending a surreal touch to what would have otherwise been a casual afternoon walk.

The Star Trek star, who co-owns production company Before The Door, is perhaps looking to cast the pair in one of his upcoming projects.
He looked suave in a pair of baggy jeans, a blue T-shirt and black coat teamed with scuffed boots.
The actor walked casually with his hands in his pocket, towering over his pint-sized companions.
What is he thinking? One of the twins looked up questioningly at Zachary as he sucked on his teeth

His redheaded friends sported short hair and were both wearing brightly coloured clothing.
Zachary walked in the middle of the twins, and his dark and brooding good looks were in stark contrast to their elfin features.
At one point the trio stopped at the crosswalk, and Zachary looked animated as he stood and chatted with them.

Meanwhile, Zachary admitted in a recent interview that Hollywood was always a 'means to an end' for him, a way to make a name for himself so that he could pursue theater, his true passion.
'I always felt like I wanted to be in L.A. so that I could come back here and do theater and now I'm making good on that promise to myself,' he told the AP.
In the The Glass Menagerie, Zachary plays Tom Wingfield, a restless warehouse worker who dreams of escaping his overbearing mother and cripplingly shy sister.
And the star is clearly relishing every minute of it.
'I was walking to work today. I've been walking the past few days because it's so beautiful out, so I walk from downtown. And I was like, "This is my life" - living in Manhattan, a dream I've always had, and I'm walking to my theater on Broadway to do Tennessee Williams. It's not lost on me. I really am humbled by it often. I feel really grateful,' he added.
