Work it! Swimsuit siren Kate Upton gets sweaty in lycra with fitness guru

She looks effortless on the cover of Sports Illustrated, but only celebrity trainer David Kirsch knows for sure how much hard work goes into maintaining Kate Upton's flawless figure.

The 21-year-old swimsuit model posed for camera as the fitness guru tweeted out pictures of the blonde bombshell as she modelled Heidi Klum's collection of New Balance trainers.

'With super hot #kateupton killing it in @heidiklum @newbalance #hknb. Looking so beautiful while #gettingkirsched,' tweeted Kirsch.

In the pic, Upton wore black lycra bicycle shorts with red threading detail and a red tank top.

The workout outfit matched the New Balance sneakers, which were black with red laces.

The duo's little fashion show didn't escape the attention of the Amercia's Got Talent judge.

'You both look hot!,' tweeted the 40-year-old former supermodel to Kirsch.

And apparently, the tweets didn't go unnoticed by New Balance either. A tweet of 'Rocking the #HKNB!' was sent from the official Twitter account of the running shoe company.

Earlier on Thursday, the fitness expert posted an image of him and Klum jumping in a park with the caption: '#TBT with @HeidiKlum and I in the park.'

Celeb trainer Kirsch's client list also includes Anne Hathaway, Liv Tyler, Linda Evangelista, Faith Hill and Kerry Washington, to name a few.

In addition to her swimsuit work for Sport Illustrated, Upton recently graced the pages of Vanity Fair in the magazine's 100th anniversary issue.

Upton is also venturing into acting and will be seen in the upcoming The Other Woman, starring Cameron Diaz, Nicki Minaj and Leslie Man. The film is set for release in 2014.

I'm not a fan of the "ideal figure" idea, because everyone is different. But I will say that having a waist that is larger than one's hips does not a model figure make.
