My, what a big coat you have! Mila Kunis gives Little Red Riding Hood a run for her money on rainy day in LA

Pouring wind and rain in Los Angeles took many people by surprise this week, but Mila Kunis handled the sudden weather shift in style.

The 30-year-old Ted star looked like a bear herself as she bundled up in a bright red coat to dodge puddles on Wednesday.

With her face peering out from under the fur-lined hood, Kunis was hard to recognize as she hid from the wind and cold.

The That 70s Show star's scarlet coat with toggles and a fluffy drawstring would have even made Paddington Bear jealous.

Kunis matched the jacket with black jeans and biker-style boots that reached her mid-calf and warded off the water filling the road.

Carrying a brown and mustard yellow bag, Mila looked so stylish in the cold that she no doubt wished she could wear winter clothes more often in California.

While wind and rain is normal in most places around the world in October, just days before Los Angeles had been in the midst of a scorching heatwave with temperatures reaching 90 degrees Fahrenheit in some areas of the city.

The sudden cold snap caught many people off guard as they were literally left out in the rain in their summer clothes.

Thankfully the Forgetting Sarah Marshall actress is more fashion savvy than that, and took the sudden onset of autumn in her trendy-booted stride.

While boyfriend Ashton Kutcher wasn't there to keep her dry, the couple were recently spotted together in Toronto, where where Mila was part of a live edition of Family Guy as part of the Just For Laughs Festival.

The blossoming romance between the former costars is apparently bringing plenty of smiles to old friends' faces, with their friend from That 70's Show Laura Prepon recently gushing over how 'incredible' it is that they finally got together.

Laura told Us Weekly that she 'wasn't surprised' to see them unite, and went ahead and confirmed the fact that Ashton was Mila's first kiss, saying: 'he was, he was.'

It's Los Angeles in October, not Fairbanks in January. Pouring wind (interesting concept!) notwithstanding, would not a raincoat have sufficed?
