She's proud to be following in the footsteps of the likes of Kate Moss and Georgia May Jagger as the latest face of Rimmel.

But Rita Ora's rather over-the-top make-up looked more suited to a Halloween outing than a casual dinner as she stepped out in London on Wednesday night.

The 22-year-old singer was sporting bright red lipstick and dramatic blue eyeshadow as she headed out for a bite to eat at the Electric Cinema in Notting Hill.

The Kosovan-born beauty completed her low-key look with a white bomber jacket and loose-fitting pale denim ripped jeans, while wearing gleaming white platform trainers on her feet.

It seemed to be a case of all work and no play for the talented musician, who headed straight to the recording studio after a long day in front of the cameras for Rimmel.

Posting a snap of her feet resting on a mixing deck on her Instagram page, she wrote: 'Straight to studio. No hometime for me. #withashelltoe #platformwaaaaaaaat.'

Rita was first spotted shooting her latest advertising campaign for the British cosmetics brand in London on Tuesday.

Showing that she is more than capable of stepping into the shoes once worn by Kate Moss, the 22-year-old was seen looked utterly fantastic as she got to work on set.

Unsurprisingly once again, it was Rita’s deep red lipstick which couldn’t be missed when she stepped out to get some fresh air.

Wearing a cropped sequined blue top, the RIP star showed off her flat stomach which was accentuated by her very low-slung trousers.

The denims were rolled up round her calves and she added a pair of high silver heels to complete her fun look.

The singer appeared to have had her hair cut for the occasion as she sported a side sweeping fringe and a messy bob.

During the shoot numerous props were seen entering the studio  to create a perfect London landscape, including a taxi, a post box and a telephone box.

Making sure her fans kept up with what she was doing she took to Twitter to share a picture of herself wearing suspenders while leaning against a black cab.

She captioned it: ‘#getthelondonlook @rimmellondonuk were coming for you!'

The pretty blonde revealed she would be teaming up with Rimmel last month when she tweeted: 'The whole worlds wear Red lipstick! #myMission @rimmellondonuk #yeeeeaaaaahhhhbaby. (sic)’

She follows in the footsteps of Georgia May Jagger and Kate Moss, who have all fronted campaigns for the popular brand.

Rita has also lent her face to DKNY taking over from her good pal Cara Delevingne and she made an appearance on the catwalk for them during New York Fashion Week.

Speaking recently about how music and fashion are related, she said: ‘I love how music and fashion are so similar. We need each other. 

‘At the moment music feeds off fashion and fashion feeds off music and when they get together they fuse perfectly.’

Something about her just irritates the nerves. Maybe it's because she tries too hard to be something she's not; I can't take her seriously as an individual artist when it's blatantly obvious she tries so hard to be Rihanna/Gwen Stefani.
