Kelly Bensimon refuses to appear on Bethenny... saying that Frankel 'will suck the blood from your child to get ratings'

Bethenny Frankel’s new chat show is lagging in the ratings.

And in an effort to boost her lacklustre viewership the television personality reached out to her former Real Housewives Of New York castmates for a reunion on her daytime talk show.

But the 42-year-old’s plan backfired as her fellow RHONY stars are reported to have refused the offer.

Several of Bethenny’s former colleagues recently revealed to In Touch their reasons for refusing the invitation.

Adding, on a more personal note: ‘I am so over her.’

And Frankel’s longtime rival Jill Zarin said that it was mostly the impersonal nature of the invitation that got her ire up, as Bethenny had a staff member make the call instead of asking her herself.

Jill explained that she was frustrated with her former castmate because she wouldn’t ‘even pick up the phone to call me!’

Zarin went on to say that the invitation was hurtful for another more personal reason, stating: ‘I was hoping she was looking for resolution and not to use me for ratings.’

Alex McCord seemed to be slightly less miffed as she explained: ‘It would have gotten a lot of attention and probably been good ratings. But a Real Housewives of New York City reunion is a valuable product, and it shouldn’t be on anybody’s talk show.

‘It should either be done on Bravo or not at all. I can’t imagine Bethenny would have been surprised by the answer she got.’

Bethenny is currently holding tight at number 13 in the daytime ratings war

Meanwhile, according to RadarOnline, the television personality is bitter towards DeGeneres, who handles producing duties on her TV talk show, Bethenny.

The Skinnygirl mogul is said to believe that DeGeneres has done little to help the fledgling talk show host to nab decent guests for her show.

An unnamed source told the online news outlet: 'Frankel was told numerous times by DeGeneres before the show premiered that she would absolutely help her in getting all of the big names in show business.’

'During Bethenny’s trial run, DeGeneres pulled some strings and got Justin Bieber to come on,' stated the unidentified informant to RadarOnline. 'DeGeneres’ former booker is now working for

Bethenny but he’s been unable to get Sandra Bullock, Gwyneth Paltrow or Miley Cyrus.'

'The big name celebrities don’t want to go on a talk show hosted by a former Bravo housewife. It’s causing major drama behind the scenes of Frankel’s show,' continued the source.

Currently, Frankel's show is taking a massive beating in the ratings battle to Queen Latifah, whose new daytime show nabbed 1.8 million viewers in its debut week.

In her first week, Latifah interviewed Jamie Foxx, John Travolta, Jake Gyllenhaal and Will Smith.

I really liked Bethany's show the first time around...and I liked her. I'm afraid my feelings have changed just because of her impending divorce. I think a lot of us don't like the fact that she filed for full custody of her daughter...most of us really like her husband, Jason.

Kelly is definitely cray-cray, but I like her quote that Bethany would suck the blood of a child for ratings as I think most of us sense the truth behind it - lets face it, Bethany wasn't even a housewife but got on the show (she had tv connections) gets her own spin-off, now a talk show, when will networks realize most of us can't stand her and her 2 minutes are up? Hopefully pretty soon now that her talk show is tanking!

all this does is confirm that she really isn¿t pleasant-though look at the debris of destroy relationships in her wake, but the bigger message here is that if people start saying they won¿t go on her show, she¿s in real trouble. Chat shows need someone to chat with.

Nah, when an article is full of phrases like "reportedly" or "according to radaronline" or "insiders say", that article doesn't actually confirm anything. It's all gossip with no facts being presented. I don't know what the truth is exactly, but any article that paints Krazy Kelly Bensimon as the voice of reason is suspect, to say the least.

I've had no idea who this Bethany woman is, but just found out I guess she was a "real housewife" whatever that even is ... so, that makes you so "popular" you get your own "chat" show? No wonder TV"s glory days are gone !

I hope her show crashes and burns and she goes away already. Such a nasty piece of work and she loves always playing the victim card when she herself is to blame.
