 Their movies have made audiences laugh out load and now funny guys Seth Rogan and James Franco are hoping to recreate that magic again in their latest project called The Interview.

The actors began shooting the movie on location in Vancouver, British Columbia on Thursday.

Seth, who is from Vancouver, will star and direct the feature along with Evan Goldberg.

The film is a comedy about a talk show host and his producer who get in over their heads when they get involved in a plot to assassinate the prime minister of North Korea.

The two actors met on Judd Apatow's '80's cult hit Freaks and Geeks' and have been working together ever since.

Seth and James starred together in the 2008 action comedy Pineapple Express.

James was nominated for a Golden Globe award for his performance.

The handsome actor rose to fame when he starred in the TNT biopic James Dean.

He has gone on to play roles in Milk, Eat, Pray, Love, In the Valley of Elah and 127 Hours.

The two actors came together again when they faced the apocalypse in the film This is the End.

Seth became a household after his role in Apatow's 2005 directorial debut, The 40-Year-Old Virgin.

He is also known as being part of Apatow's so-called frat pack of actors that includes funnymen Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd.

The movie shoots in Vancouver until December 20.
