The luxurious Boston-area mansion owned by NBA star Kevin Garnett could be yours - for just under $5 million. But don't forget to budget for the $56,000 tax bill every year.

Garnett, a 6ft 11ins power forward, was traded to the Brooklyn Nets in June after six seasons with the Boston Celtics that included the 2008 NBA championship.

As the 37-year-old now plies his trade in New York, he's obviously decided to free up some cash and put the 11,000-square-foot waterfront home in Concord up for sale on Wednesday.

I hope he didn't pay someone to decorate/furnish that house. Horrible job.

Wow, usually professional athletes have houses that are overly "grand" & completely tasteless. All things considered, this one aint bad at all.

Minimalistic is never a good thing on a place so big. The next owner will have to do some major renovations including softening up that house's facade.

on the outside it looks like a commercial building and on the inside he needs a refund from the person that decorated it.

Minus the sunroom it looks just like a company I worked for in 1983

Love Kevin Garnett, but the house looks cold and sterile. Doesn't matter if he's living there, it's the decor, furnishings and most of all the curb view ...looks like an office building. I've seen unoccupied homes look homey, comfy and warm. This home can be warmed up on the inside, but the first impression is the awful exterior.
