For the past five months she's been performing for thousands of fans in sold-out arenas and award shows.

But it's evident that Kelly Clarkson's mind is preoccupied with her upcoming nuptials to fiance Brandon Blackstock.

The 31-year-old singer visited the ladies on The View on Wednesday and it looked as if she was ready to walk down the aisle as she donned a gorgeous eggshell wedding dress.

The bodice was designed in beautiful lace and finished up with a sweetheart neckline. Kelly added a sparkling skinny belt that complemented her figure.

She accessorized her beautiful gown with a pair of diamond earrings. Her hair was styled in a lovely up-do. Kelly completed her look with a soft pink lipstick.

Also following the matrimonial theme were her backup singers who were dressed in exquisite lilac bridesmaids gowns, while her male backup dancers wore black neckties and matching slacks.

The American Idol winner performed Tie It Up, a lighthearted Christmas song featured on her upcoming holiday album Wrapped In Red.

It is scheduled for release on October 29th.

Kelly revealed her excitement to make the record, on her Facebook, saying: 'I have been dying to make this album since I was a kid!'

The 'Catch My Breath' singer couldn't hold in her excitement to become Mrs. Brandon Blackstock in just a few weeks.

'We just got off tour so in a couple of weeks we're just taking the kids and doing something really small,' she said on The View.

Besides becoming a wife, Kelly can't wait to start a family. Although she's never wanted children in the past, playing her current role of step-mother to Brandon's children and being in love has changed her mind.

'He has two kids. He has a 12-year-old and a six-year-old, and they're awesome. I really lucked out on that. I love it. They laugh at me. I love doing the homework, I love going to the games.' she said.

Brandon's two children, Savannah and Seth, from a previous marriage, will be joining the couple when they tie the knot in a small ceremony later this month. They decided to elope after initially trying to plan a big wedding in Nashville, Tennessee.

'We started putting it together and we realized that weddings aren't for brides or grooms,' she said.

The bride-to-be has no doubt that Brandon is the man for her.

'He's great. He is the perfect guy for me. We actually grew up in the same small town, which is weird, but we didn't know each other,' she said.
