Hilary Duff pulls on sexy thigh-high boots for trip to office as she revs up her career a year after son's birth

Actress and entrepreneur Hilary Duff let her natural beauty shine as she headed to an office in Beverly Hills, California, on Thursday morning.

The former Lizzie McGuire star wore very little makeup for her trip out - but she jazzed up her simple look with sexy thigh-high black boots with spike heels.

She showed off her curvy figure to perfection in an oatmeal cardigan over a mini-skirt decorated with Indian-style patterns in toning shades of cream, brown and black.

Her long blonde hair framed her face as she clutched a water bottle and phone.

Now that little Luca, her son with Canadian former ice hockey player Mike Comrie, is over a year old, the 26-year-old former Disney star is clearly relaxing into motherhood and enjoying spending some grown up time away from home.

Hilary has been working on a new album that includes a track with producer Billy Mann, best known for his work with artists including Pink, Robyn and Celine Dion.

As well as her music, Hilary has some film projects in the pipeline, including comedy Flock of Dudes, which is set for release in 2014.

Like many new parents, Hilary and Mike have been devoting all their attention to their child.

But now little Luca is growing up the couple are becoming more comfortable about leaving him to spend time together.

On Saturday they were at the Hollywood Bowl to attend John Mayer's concert and were all smiles as they were snapped by waiting photographers.

Hilary began dating her ice hockey beau in 2007 and they got married in 2010.

She is also the author of a successful trilogy of young adult novels, published by Simon & Schuster, that kicked off with bestseller Elixir in 2010, followed by Devoted in 2011 and finished with True, which was released in April.

The outfit is a little bit too 90s for me...reminds me of something Sabrina the Teenage Witch wore! I think her body looks great though and there's no doubt she's very naturally pretty. Wonder if she will try and star in more adult roles or still stick with the family movies?
