She's a force to be reckoned with.

Breaking classic moviegoer etiquette, Madonna relentlessly sent text messages during the premiere screening of 12 Years A Slave in New York City on Tuesday.

But her actions didn't go unnoticed, causing a scorching fan to blatantly call her out, in which the 55-year-old pop icon responded: 'It's for business... enslaver!'

She doesn't like to be told what to do... Madonna called a moviegoer an 'enslaver' after being slammed for texting during the premiere of 12 Years A Slave in New York City on Tuesday

New York Post's Page Six first reported about the incident at Lincoln Center's Walter Reade theatre, calling the superstar - who was unidentified at the time - 'a mysterious blonde in black lace gloves who wouldn't stop texting on her Blackberry throughout the first half of the movie.'

After becoming agitated with the disturbance, a female filmgoer eventually 'tapped her on the shoulder and told her to put her phone away.'

It was then that Madonna quipped back with her inappropriate 'enslaver' response.

The historical drama - starring Brad Pitt, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Michael Fassbender - is a fact-based film about a freed slave (Ejiofor) who is then sold back into slavery.

'Some people are shocked by this, because Madonna was visibly tearing up, everybody there thought that she was very moved by it,' another source confirmed to Us Weekly, after  it was noted that the lash-out had come from Madge.

'She really wanted to say hello to Steve McQueen and congratulate him.'

The Vogue songstress was, in fact, seen with the film's director, Steve, even posing with him for a few snaps at the New York Film Festival event.

And she was pictured wearing an all-black ensemble, which included lace gloves.

I'll ask you politely, once. But if you mouth off to me - like Madge did - I will slap that phone outta your stupid hand (and take a bow while the audience applauds).

Madonna hates being told what to do, so avoid being scolded at and offended by having a little courtesy to resist the urge to be on your BlackBerry until after the movie, business or not.

That's one thing that irritates me when seeing a movie when people text text text. It's ignorant especially when the light from the phone is very visible to the corner of your eye. Some people shouldn't see a movie if they are just going to disturb others.

I doubt she was ever interested in the movie, she went only because the media were there.

Unless she had the sound on and/or making noise while typing the messages then I don't see why anyone would be bothered by Madonna texting during a movie, regardless of the reason. Perhaps the annoyed person should have kept their eyes on the screen rather than leaning over the seats to see what Madonna was up to. What's next, people not being allowed to eat or drink in the theater because of the noise it makes or no glasses allowed because the screen is reflected in them and it might annoy those sitting next to you? If you don't want to be annoyed/disturbed by someone else's movie watching habits then don't go to the theater and wait until the movie's on DVD so you can watch it in the privacy of your own home.

The screen lights up when used and the constant lighting can be disruptive in an otherwise dark theatre.

Would be hilarious if all her fans at a concert were busy playing with their phones and texting. Ignoramus!
