Bruce Jenner hit the links on Thursday with his son Brody who shared an Instagram video of his Olympic champion father teeing off on a pink ball.

The 63-year-old Bruce showed he still has an athlete's mentality as he patiently lined up his shot for about seven seconds before going into his backswing.

'Golf day with Bruiser.. He pulled this [one] a bit left but it's probably because he has a lot on his mind... Or is it that pink ball???,' Brody wrote in the Instagram video caption.

On Thursday a report on Radar Online also claimed that Bruce had the support of his teenage daughter Kendall, who has apparently moved to Malibu to be with him, while Kylie is staying with her mother in Hidden Hills.

In the video that 30-year-old Brody shared with his more than 1.5 million Instagram followers, he provided a little commentary as Bruce drove the ball.

'Ohhhhhhhh!,' Brody shouted as the golf ball soared down the fairway.

Brody's reference to his father's state of mind was an obvious acknowledgement of the announcement on Tuesday that Bruce and wife Kris had separated after 22 years of marriage.

Bruce and Kris reportedly separated about a year ago but kept it mum until this week. Both have said they are happier living apart and Bruce on Thursday was still wearing his wedding ring.

Brody and his 32-year-old brother Brandon reportedly have blamed Kris for their years of estrangement from their dad and are thrilled his marriage to Kris is over so they can reconnect, according to TMZ.

Bruce married Kris in 1991 following his divorce from Brody and Brandon’s mother Linda Thompson and had little to do with the boys, who were raised by their mother and her now ex-husband David Foster.

While their relationship has improved in recent years, with Bruce’s sons even appearing in the latest season of Bruce and Kris’ reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians, they still allegedly harbour ill will towards Kris as they believe she encouraged Bruce to cut ties with them.

They are also said to blame their stepmother for Bruce not paying child support for 10 years. 

However, Bruce has moved out of his marital home and is living near his sons in Malibu and the trio have been doing their best to reconnect and have ‘an adult relationship’.

Brody opened up about his pain on a past episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, where he called out Bruce for being an absent father.

‘I think Bruce is an incredible human being and I think that Bruce is a great father, he just wasn't a great father to me,' Brody said.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that Bruce’s friendship with Brody and Brandon’s mother rocked the couple’s marriage.

According to the reports Bruce and Linda have been spending a lot more time with each other in recent months.

‘Bruce has been spending a lot of time with Linda and the boys in Malibu over the last few months,’ a source told Radar Online.

‘Linda has lived in Malibu for decades and leads a very normal life, away from the spotlight — the opposite of the Kardashians and Jenners.’

The insider claims that Kris, 57, is ‘insanely jealous’ of her estranged husband’s ex and allegedly didn’t want them spending much time together.

Linda has always wanted to be friends with Bruce, but Kris wouldn’t allow it,’ the source claimed. ‘She would give him so much grief about spending time away from their daughters, Kendall and Kylie. Bruce felt guilty and just didn’t pursue it.

‘He wishes he could have done things differently, but he can’t change it now. Bruce knows that all he can do moving forward is be there for his sons, now.’

Brandon and Brody are apparently ‘happy to finally be able to spend time with their parents together, after all of these years’.

While the former couple’s friendship appears to be blossoming, they are not on the way to rekindling their relationship, according to the report, but Kris allegedly is still not happy.

‘It’s not sitting well with Kris that Bruce has been spending time with Linda. There is nothing romantic going on between the two at this time.

‘However, Bruce has always had a special place in his heart for Linda and admires what an amazing mother she is to their sons.’

everyone is so quick to blame kris, it takes two to tango, and I really dont think bruce is the prince charming and mr incontinent, he is such a very moody and grumpy man and I wouldn't want to live with such negativity 24/7!

Maybe it's time those Jenner boys stopped blaming Kris for everything relating to their father being absent. Bruce is a grown man and only has himself to blame for his actions. Not a fan of Kris by a long stretch but I hate it when people always try to pass the buck.

Bruce, please please please do something about that ridicuous hairdo of yours. Most people are on your side in this, but you look ridicuous with a ponytail sticking out of a baseball cap. Get yourself to a barber who can fix this catastrophe. You have the money (for now) to do so. Because as of right now your hair looks worse than Donald trumps.

It will be interesting to see how Kris deals with Kendall moving out. She has a history of alienating her children from their father.
