It is the second pay controversy to engulf the company’s Canadian chief executive Moya Greene, who was forced to pay back a £250,000 housing allowance earlier this year. Now it has emerged that, in April, Greene drew more than £280,000 from a pension pot that was previously supposed to be paid to her when she left the company.

Kerry Maxwell, 27, of Bermondsey, South-East London, recently asked for help from London Mutual Credit Union.

While I stand firmly in the Help to Buy 2 is crazy camp, I'm not so sure that attacks on small deposit lending as reckless stand up. Members of Unite vote in favour of strike action against Ineos as refinery row continues
Yesterday the trade union served notice of a 48-hour strike, which will start on Sunday October 20 at 7am. Staff at Ineos’s Grangemouth refinery in Falkirk began industrial action this week in protest at its investigation into whether union shop steward Stephen Deans misused company facilities. This involved picketing supermarkets including Morrisons and Asda that buy fuel from the refinery.
