He made his feelings for his latest love interest loud and clear by jetting out to Australia to spend some quality time with her.

And it would seem Lara Bingle and Sam Worthington were keen to make the most of their love-in as they put on another PDA-fest while out and about in Sydney on Wednesday.

Although the pair were faced with the fairly arduous task of grocery shopping, nothing could rain on their parade as they put on a rather amorous display for all to see.

The 37-year-old actor certainly appears to have taken the country's laid-back vibe to heart after jetting into Sydney earlier this week.

The Avatar star, 37, was seen looking very casual as he spent quality time with his new girlfriend on Tuesday evening.

Wearing baggy jeans with a double-layered jumper and a leather jacket, he looked like he'd put little thought into his attire for his romantic evening in Sydney.

Awkwardly, Lara had put considerably more effort into impressing the English-born actor. Wearing a black skirt with a slit up the leg, she teamed her look with a midriff-revealing white crop top and tie-up shoes.

Sadly, despite the fact she looked tanned and healthy, the pair ultimately looked mismatched in their contrasting levels of formality.

Fortunately, it didn't stop them enjoying each others' company. In fact, it didn't take long for them to finally cement their new relationship with their first public kiss.

The couple were soon seen locking lips as they dined at popular Italian restaurant Fratelli Paradiso.

A destination point for food lovers, it is situated in the heart of Potts Point and is popular with both Kylie and Dannii Minogue - as well as Guy Pearce and Isla Fisher.

Sam’s trip to Oz comes just a couple of weeks after the pair reportedly got together whilst enjoying a concert in New York.

The pair attended the Cotton On Foundation's Global Citizen Concert headlined by Bono, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder and Alicia Keys at Central Park last month.

Lara is an ambassador for the brand and was in the US shooting a campaign. She and Sam were joined at the gig by a host of celeb pals including Natalie Imbruglia and Clint Eastwood's son, Scott but it sounds like the new couple only had eyes for each other. 

Onlookers have told Sydney Confidential that 'sparks flew' during the concert and the pair were seen enjoying the sights of NYC together in the days after the night out.

Lara meanwhile has had a string of high profile romances down under including her engagement to Australian Cricket Captain Michael Clarke.

Her most recent romance was with fashion designer Gareth Moody, 35, who she credits her recent weight loss and healthier regime too. The couple were together for over a year but split over New Year 2012.

I just don't understand why in hell would anybody walk barfoot in the store. I have a feeling she is wearing his shoes....and that top on her is disgusting.

Don't know about this relationship, first there is an age difference, but she is so clingy... literally in almost every photo she is clinging to him. She looks much more invested in this relationship than he does.. I give it 6 months at most

For those concerned about his lack of shoes - from my experience, it's not unusual in Australia to see people barefoot. God knows why given the amount of poisonous creepies they have there, but that's just how it is!
